Thanks mate! It's not a AutoArt :), just a simple Norev. My 2nd 1:18 car :D and I already got a 3rd target

Greets!

The Norev car is actually surprisingly good, I got one around Christmas time last year and was suitably impressed. It certainly looks the part.

Here's a couple of shots of mine.

Nice startup of a collection, I have 3 1:18s myself (R8, Lamborghini Gallardo with Blancpain livery and a Nissan R390 black and red livery)

I'm starting to look for a 4th but can't decide yet.

Good taste! I've seen the Lambo once but didn't buy it :( I'm also looking for one but can't decide either:D

I'm doubting between a Peugeot 905 LeMans car '92 or the GT by Citroën ( matt black ). I've seen the Citroën in Paris once and I got to say, in real life that thing is AWESOME! but so is the Peugeot :sly:

It is! And man, awesome pictures! I'm going to use my father's Canon tomorrow and try to make some nice shots. Will try to post them tomorrow.

Who would you choose?
The Peugeot or the Citroën? Is the Citroën more detailled?

Do they come with opening doors and hoods? :)
Your AMP1 looks nice

It's really hard to choose between the 905 and GTbC, but if it's me, I might go for the 905. 👍

The Aston not. The wheels roll but that's it. The model is nicely detailled for the price ( I payed 20€ for it instead of the 40€ new price. The best part, this one is new :D )

The GTbY has got doors that open and I think the hood opens to but the Peugeot is just pure beauty and nostalgia:) I'm going to choose, but I don't know whem I'm going to choose

Greets!

Not as exotic as some of the models you guys are posting but I purchased this Lewis Hamilton 1/2 scale model the other day. 👍

Yeah Im a Lewis fan but want to get other drivers helmets, just getting the Lewis ones out the way 1st ;)

Aaaaaah minichamps <3

Awesome picture on the Aston. Do want...

Anyways, my brother told me that he found several 1:24 scale Maisto models at Walgreens with a deal for $13.99 for three cars. Basically buy two and get one free. Going to check it out tomorrow. :dopey:

Edit: At Toys R Us, I found a section with 1:18 scale Shelby Collection models. Three Ford GT40s (white, red, and black ) and one '07 GT500. Don't remember what the prices were, but I really want to get the GT40...but what color?

Red red red red red....

Haven't been able to stop by TRU in a while... Would love to pick those up, but I don't know how much they cost. And the red one does sound good. :D

Anyways, stopped by Walgreens to pick up the Maisto 1:24s and the selection wasn't much. I asked an employee if they had any more but what was on the shelf was all they had... To list, they had one of each car: Late 90s gen Silverado, Hummer H2, (Pre-facelift) New Mini Cooper, Nissan 370Z, Audi R8 V8, and Audi R8 Spyder. As I said before the deal was $13.99 for three cars. Basically buy two get one free! Since there wasn't that much of a selection, I chose the R8 V10 Spyder, R8 V8 coupe, and 370Z. Already had the Nissan 370Z (in red, but the one I got was a tad used...and was red. The Walgreens one was in the box and in blue), but since I was going to stop by to visit my little cousins, I decided to give the youngest the 370Z (the other was 13 and was all into the Call of Duty stuff...toys were nothing to him). Wish they had more cars on offer...

Might check out other Walgreens near my town. I'd recommend you guys to look into your own to see if there's the buy two get one free deal. 👍

Nice scales Medigo and I love the Lola Aston LMP Jonas. Your dad's camera really bring out the details of the car. 👍

And to firebird: the 1:24 Maistos are good for their price and for a collector on a budget. But the 1:18 Maisto are the best ones to look out for. Even though they are around 20-30 dollars, the 1:18 ones are pretty decent. I have a few of them and I still enjoy them. If you want even better quality, then look at the AutoArt scales, but they will be expensive though. Hope this helps. :)

Are those Maistos good quality?

I used to have quite a few 1/24 Maisto's back in the day and they weren't that bad back then so I'm sure with improvements over the years they are even better. They seem to be made using scaled down (rather than different) tooling from the 1:18 versions so its pretty much the same just maybe less detail here and there.

I got this on the weekend at the local model shop. Its Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X Victoria Australia Police Car made by Vitesse in 1:43 scale.

I wish they would make more modern models of global Police vehicles, especially in 1/43 because most stuff out there seems to be more historic.

Ive got some fairly recent model police cars. They are 1:18 VT and VX Commodores. They are packed away now so I cant get pics of them. Also some good news. My Stealth Nissan GT-R 500 and Stealth McLaren F1 arrived today, Ill get pics of them as soon as can for you. I might even do a group shot with the Stealth Mazda 787 B.

Soooooo jelly :D Small question, is the Mazda worth it's price?

Greets!

Awesome awesome awesome thread. I have a rather scattered collection, myself. I was all over the place a few years ago with the various scales, until I decided that 1:43 was absolutely my ideal scale, in terms of details x pricing, and other factors that went into that decision.

I may buy a couple a year. So while my collection isn't much at the moment in this scale, it is definitely growing steadily.

The goal is to replace most of these scale models with the 1:1's, one day. LOL

Last cars I bought;

And just pulled the trigger, on these;

LookSmart Ferrari f12berlinetta 1:43, and a cobblestone WWII street diorama from a seller on eBay. :)

I'll post actual pictures of this one once it comes. My plan is to get a glass display case ( like the detolf from IKEA). Once I get everything displayed properly, I'll post everything I have here.

here are some more angles... i got mine off ebay for like $170 shipped. MSRP was 190

supposed to get it first week of june as i think its released 5/30

- I know I went hella pages back, but this is one beautiful model! Very nice pick up. Have you received it yet? I would love to see more pictures of it, in hand!

I've been staring at images of this model for weeks, comparing it to images and video of the real one. Everything looks spot on, to me.

LookSmart does incredibly accurate, and detailed models, especially Ferrari's. Them, and BBR are the best, IMO.

This same mold was used for the f12berlinetta in the usual assortment of colors. Maybe if you saw it in another color, it would look less off to you?
