Also, my C5-R is the 2002 Goodwrench-sponsored version (#4) driven by Andy Pilgrim and Kelly Collins, made by AutoArt. It's a stunning model :)

The chequered flag style one? I remember that one and it does look very cool.

AA being AutoArt. Just AutoArt+carname will get hype. Possibly because AA produces excellent models that only cost half your arm.

Well for one they're all getting rarer and harder to find... the red Oreca cars are about as easy to find as Osama Ben Laden.

They all are getting hard to find. :grumpy:

I believe most of them are still available. I see them for pretty cheap now on eBay. As a matter of fact I sold a duplicate AA Viper #56 Chamberlain in a private sale a few weeks ago .

For what it's worth, here's my complete AA set Viper collection (14 in all). :dopey:

thats a sweet collection 👍 . if I had that many cars, I'd do a whole lot of movie making(if I knew how to make a flash, I do that, too). wonder what would happen if there was a person with that many corvettes?

btw nice colection! got any non viper models?
Thanks bondy_1625. I do have other 1/18s. I'm only a fan of the GTS-R and I'm not into the road cars. I'm more of a 996 fan more than anything else.

I've click on your gallery; is that your whole collection? I might be wrong but when I went through all 43 pages quickly, I think I see that you have more models than that.

Thanks Racecar. I'm not much of a Corvette fan either, although I do have 3 C5Rs (2001 and 2002 Le Mans class winner and 2003 Le Mans 2nd in class). I'm waiting for AA to come out with their 2004 Le Mans class winner. Unfortunately, I've yet to get a Daytona 24 hour and 2000 ALMS Texas winner. :(

I wanna know how twistedspoon got his black Chamberlain Viper???? Tell me please!!!

BlackZ28
Insane amount of Vipers. Very nice collection. #51 and #53 are exceptional. 👍
Thanks BlackZ28.

I've bought my one off eBay and one off a classified board on a 1/18 forum. As I've mentioned before, I sold one of my Chamberlain recently to another collector for about $80 USD (should have asked for more though :sly: ). 👍

$80-£44.20 UK pounds, I would be fully prepared to pay that, got anymore Chamberlain Vipers hiding around twistedspoon that you wanna sell to your new favourite gtp member, me? lol

wow, $80... ripoff... No thanks. :odd:

Actually, the buyer posted on a classified board that he wanted it and he'll willing to pay at that price. So he ripped himself off if you will; although I bought one of my Chamberlain for a similar price. :yuck:

Sorry sting. I don't have another Chamberlain for sell. 👎 The only one left is the one in my collection. :D

something I found in that link so I thank sting.
Autoart is going to produce 1:18 models of the Aston Martin DB9R cars in 06!(though there will also be some made by Spark models I believe)so look out.
BTW, does maisto make the "CLK Sportswear" or the "Warstiener" variations of the Mercedes CLK GTRs?

Thanks BlackZ28.

What forum are you talking about? I'm interested! :)

Yeah I'm also interested in the whereabouts of this 1/18 forum.

That is announced but there's no confirmation as to when it's going to be released. I'm willing to bet that it won't be before Christmas. Spark is also rumoured to be interested in 1/18s, but I until some actual products, I would be consider it a rumour.

This may help you about the Maisto CLK GTRs: Click Here
Although Maisto has more livery to choose from, the AA Original-Teile versions are better. Besides, AA also as the CLK LMs (which they mistakenly called CLK GTR) that are better than the GTRs. BTW, the CLK LMs are much harder to find then those Vipers. :D

The most sought after is the AA #35 CLK LM that participated in the 1998 Le Mans.
And here's mine. Click on pic:
