Dangit venom! buy a case...or ill buy you one!...

Why does that ram always look so badass
Cause I don't want to spend $300 on a case. Not like I have any Ikeas around here with cheap and plentiful display cases. I will gladly accept a free case though <__<
And yes, the Ram is badass. I just wish I got more of the Spark Rams back when I could...

I might consider that, though I could probably make one myself if I had somewhere to build it <_____<
I'm still thinking about getting one or two of those acrylic cases though, saw a 54 car one for $100-ish also.
As it stands around 20-ish 1/43's must remain in their original display cases till I have a better setup. The rest go in 3-5 car cases I have that were originally designed for 1/64 semis.

So that 918 is a sealed resin model then? How's the quality on it?

lol, it is 1/43, forgot to mention that. So yes, it is sealed. As for quality/detail, about as good as it gets for a non hand-built 1/43 like a LookSmart or BBR. Model was made by Spark.

Carmodelz.nl Looong time waiting for this one and the AA One-77. Received last Saturday. :D

If you decide to take it off its base run your fingers across the felt bottom and you'll feel the screws.

The 991 looks really nice. Thinking of getting one myself :) These photos are very convincing!

Got me a few 997's lately. 4 1:43 Flying Lizard 911's and one 1:18 Flying Lizard. Almost got an heart attack after wanting to buy the latest 1:43 Flying Lizard I need... Last one I checked went 200 dollars.. I mean, come on... The are all around 50 dollars and then this one is going for 200. :banghead: I couldn't help myself so I got that one in 1:18 :P

So i have been transforming Maisto models into Premium models for some time now, what i like to do is buy in bulk from costco or sams and detail(redo) the hell out of them,

What i do to transform a budget into a premium?

dismantle the entire car, Of course.

Sand the paint, to a desired finish, then buff, to get rid of orange peel, or repaint the car.

sand the interior, repaint the interior, using testers, model master or tamiya paints. matts and glosses depending on trim or material.

Sand around interior edges to correct errors.

adding seat belts.

add side glass.

removing head light/ tail light studs, then sanding and repainting the inside of the lens( a clear color(tamiya turn signal red/orange for example.

1:1 details everywhere, especially the chassis, different paints etc.

lowering for the correct stance.

spacing out wheels for a close to 1:1 finish.

detailing head lights, trim, etc

Detailing brakes, adding brakes calipers, and make them free rolling.

adding flocking to the entire floor, roof, trunk panels of the model, or cutting felt into the shape of the entire corresponding latter of the model.

detailing engine, replacing engine plastic plate with "loose" engine from ebay or donor model.

is just some of the stuff i do to transform a budget into a Premuim.

i like buying premiums, but man is it fun to transform a budget!

Recently just finished a Lamborghini gallardo spyder, it looks beautiful, will have pictures soon.

Was that livery actually raced?

Because that would be an insane amount of awesome.

I now need to pick up some of that stuff next time I see it...

And suddenly, another 1/18...

Got it from an online shop I often buy from. US based shop though, but they do ship international. Shouldn't be too hard to find it from EU shops though. Price is around $160 USD, though it can vary. Model just came out within the past month, though I suspect it will sell out pretty fast. Try to get one while you can lol
Also comes in black, silver, and a funky green called Milineum Jade. Made by AUTOart btw.

👍 TY! Gonna try first on my usual AA supplier, if not will try online... I have seen the black one, but don't know, the blue has something... You know... :)

I've no knowledge on the motorsport scene, but the V12 Vantage GT3 Vita Lemon Tea Livery is indeed real. And yes, it has won 3 Macau GP races.
