Eh, mine just gains wings and flies out of the window. And then, it throws itself into a river.
After sprinting out the door, my wallet returns dragging a shoebox full of my receipts, with it's little wallet hands. Sits down in front of me with the receipts, a red pen, pad and calculator, and looks at me with disappointment on it's little wallet face, as it shakes its little wallet head disapprovingly.. I just stare right through Wallet, at the scale model thread page, with a wanting look on my face.

:D

[Sorry for going off topic.. but yay! new page = short load time.. well for a short while anyway]

Damm doc, your wallet can really get depressed at times, huh?

Well, at least we opened a new blank canvas for those who want to showcase their beautiful works of art (AUTOart, if you prefer), so there's that to consider... :sly:

Also, does anybody else find this thread has the longest load time on the whole of GTP?

For me it was always the video threads.. funny vid, What Are You Listening To, Rate This Song, anything that promotes youtube links.

Strangely enough, of all the forums I go to with model car topics, this one by far loads the fastest. In fact, it loads fast enough that I wouldn't consider it slow lol...

I'd say we could reach an agreement and say that threads that focus solely on one type of media (music and video) are those which have the slowest loading speeds of this forum. If it doesn't have much text in between media posts, it'll truly be slow...

One more group shot, got more planned for later...

Alright, so i have this old 1/36 Peugeot 206 GTI which i have absolutely no info on.

It has a livery that is partially a mix of the two Total WRC 206es, although it has a stock body,
And other various details, that were never on the rally cars actually.
The only custom bits on this Peugeot are the attempt at the black lines across the doors, and the black bits around the rear window.
I tried to google stuff that would seem to get me to see to seeing one of the Peugeot's brothers, but it was to no avail.
And i don't know if i discovered the Toyota AA of the 1/36 Scale Model car world here, or used the wrong words in the google search engine.

Well, the Toyota AA WAS discovered in Russia...

Than why didn't you mentioned the brand of the regular version if you know it?

I think somebody got creative with some decals and red paint on a white one just like i posted.
So finding one like it would mean you had to get creative yourself.

You see, the the tampo looks computer generated. Its not the easiest thing to recreate a computer generated thing, aside from the aged bits.
The only custom painted bits is the line on the door, and bits of the rear window, like i said in the previous post. And for the record, the lettering was so small i thought it said "Tins Toys", infact, it does say Tins Toys.

Closest i got to my peugeot with google search was this:

And even then there are differences in the tampo, with white 206 on side and hood, a white outline around the french flag, and no www peugeot com
And one more thing, could you kindly check the number T429 of Tins Toys/Guiloy? it is included under my peugeot.

I know there are mainly cars in this thread but does anyone collect scale figures? I'm not talking the Gunpla ones as there is an already great thread for those but models of movie characters etc.

I've recently been tempted to pre-order these but at an import cost of £300 it's a bit much.

These are the new Square Enix Toys version of Starwars. They look so, so, sooooo good!

Only figures I have are a handful of 1/8 scale static figures of Tales of series RPG characters. Not really a big figure person outside of that lol...
And how about some wheels:

I was bored and took pics of models close at hand lol...
I still love how the rotors on the R32 are actual metal and drilled. one of my favorites in my collection at the moment. venom, definitely make windows for it, brings the model to a completely different level.

The Bugatti, RX7, and F355 also have metal disks, while I added them to the Citroen. And I will try to add windows to the R32 sometime when I get some more extra lexan :)

Darn, looking at these models makes me want to try collecting more of the bigger models again. The only problem is I don't have much space in my room to do so.
