To match my 1:1 :)

The first three out of six models have arrived :) New in box, and sealed like time capsules.

And for some recent projects i have been doing.

Now for some custom windows i have been making, using diamond clear acrylic. no distortion when looking inside the model.

i tried cutting and fileng as close to the original shape of the window frame as possible. took a long time, lots of trial and errors but i'm more then happy with the results.

I need to finish adding side windows to some of my models where it would be easy to do so... Lazy mode kicked in like VTEC.
Anyway, some new stuff:

Finaly there are some Honda S2000 2003 modelcars in 1:43.
I had mine made out of a LHD red ebbro 2001 version in 2010.

Now there are 7 versions available.

MARK43 makes the regular version in White, Silver, Blue Metallic, Yellow pearl.
And WIT's makes the Type S in White, Yellow Pearl, MoonRock.

I ordered them all and the Yellow MARK43 came in first.
Here it is with my modified ebbro one.

I hope the other 6 are here soon.

I might aswell contribute to this S2Kraze with my recent purchase.. i heard they used to be quite cheap in price..

Berlina Black Gloss is such a beautiful paint.

Also, Ramanujan, i like the AP1's but i'm not sure about the wings...on the Wits..

No, just even the wing on the real model...just looks, kind of out of place. A mugen lipped spoiler would have looked way more sleaker and matched the aggressive body style. imo

Is this supposed to be a one off model? because iv'e never heard of the type S, Looks just like the S2000CR though.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_S2000

Japan got 100 Type S versions wich look like the CR version in the states. (Same spoiler and frontlip)
They only have a softtop that folds down, and are a bit less hardcore in tyre and suspension settings.
Were the CR has no softtop, but a removable hardtop. And wider tyres at the rear.

In my view the type S S2000 is a daily usable version of the CR S2000.

One of my model aircraft "steals" would have to be this Fokker Friendship:

I only paid $21 for it down from $42. That's wholesale in model aircraft terms.

Here are some random group shots, might take more pics later...

Also, a couple random pics showing the current makeup of my 1/18 diecast collection:

Very interesting, those graphics. In a way, they're a great way to know if you have been spending money on very expensive stuff or not.

But jokes aside, it seems that your collection mostly focuses on the big sporty 3 (Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini), and that AUTOart really is a big preference of yours (with almost half of the entire collection to itself!).

Also, that 355 is gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous.

F&F fans, Greenlight has made this S2000 available now:

Yes it's still S2000 day. I myself have an S2000 but I've already posted pics of that in the past. I plan to fabricate something similar to J's kit over the summer.

Also:

There's preorder special on these two:

I love the S2000's but it's really sad to not see any in Imola Orange.
Also, does anybody else find this thread has the longest load time on the whole of GTP?

Guess not even the recent picture resizing system can avoid slower loading times, it seems. And when so many post so many pictures, you can more or less guess the result, haha.

Indeed. That's why i don't visit this thread as often as other threads.

Suppose it's a good way of keeping the riff-raff out, like me.

It's also a good way to preserve your wallet, in pristine condition. God only knows what one's wallet goes through while watching this thread. It may even consider suicide!
