The X2014 has arrived in the store:

Stop giving me that smile, Peugeot!

They cost 210 USD each...

AUTOart, great cars and high prices go hand in hand like bread and butter... Although the happy Pug (also known as the 208 :D16) could use a factory livery to look a little less bare bones, but maybe that's just me. The RedBull looks formidable, but dat pricetag makes it nearly impossible for me to own right now...

Found those 3 in my basement, old Bburagos1:24, despite few scratches and the black one has the plastic engine cover missing, they've survived pretty well an entire childhood...
My first ever model was a 1/18 scale yellow F50 by Maisto. I still have it, although it's pretty beat up and covered in dust.

About "my first model car":
Mine was a red toy car my grandad gave to me when I was a very little child, also, he claims that was my very first toy.
Sadly, there are no trace of this "legendary" car now, but it was probably the responsable of my racing passion.
For some reason, my dad used to build model kits of WW2 tanks and it has a (very little) collection of fighter jets, the same grandad has a huge collection of trains and diorama parts (stations, bridges, all in HO scale).
And I'm the petrolhead of the family...

Noticed the girlfriend looking at my watch list on ebay the other day and she came over with this today, i think shes a keeper!

Yeah but wouldn't it have charged to YOUR PayPal account

Buy boyfriend gifts with his own money FTW! ;)

After the 993 EVO's release, I decided to wait for an awesome colour to come out.

Still waiting to this day, as (to me) that green doesn't work as well on the 993 as it does on the 964.

I kind of like it... The black rims makes it (for me) a nice combination... But agree in other color would be amazing as well...

Besides, had a discount for my next order, so... ;)

EDIT: Believe you bought the 964 in green... Thought the only color was red (GT Spirit website)... By the looks of your photo seems ... Should have visited Modelissimo site first... :ouch:

Is the S1 PP in 1/18? I have it in 1/12 and it's freaking amazing...

Yeah now you know why I said what I said. :P jk
Yeah the green one was a modelissimo/ck-modelcar exclusive. By luck I came across it when it first released. It was 83EUR at the time, but they quickly jacked the price up to 109, 129, and now it's sitting comfortably at 300 euros. Insanity.

And yes, the Quattro S1 is /18. I covered up the folded decals last night. Testor's enamel paint called "Rubber" was a very close match. Nitpicky me is not fully content, but I'll live with it.

Porsche Fever is definitely a thing, i didn't have any of these 2 months ago. My most recent purchase was that Aa 996 Turbo, Red/beige interior.
Glad to see I'm not the only one who lost control. I stop collecting after 12 Porsches up until a few months ago. I've now hit 20 and have 4 911 Turbos on the way. I'm also glad to see another Porsche collector who actually likes 996s!

Apart from a detached towing hook on the front (I can easily glue it and nobody will see the difference) this looks even better than my AutoArt 787B.
Despite there are some Group C/GTP missing I feel like my collection is somehow complete, except the Lancia LC2 (I regret not have bought it during summer)...

We need pics of everything. Every thing.

The [911] obsession continues! First new car of 2016 is a Minichamps GT2 RS. Also ordered 3 other 911s, but I'll worry about those later. :sly:

Edit: Bonus picture, because I finally got around to taking pics of the GT Spirit GT2:

I really regret not getting the blue and gold GT3 RS when my wife pointed it out a couple of years ago. It would sit so well with the white and red one I have.

Unfortunately mine was badly damaged when it broke off the base in shipping. At the time, Autoart just released the same model, so I replaced the broken model with the Autoart version. Sadly the AA is not blue/gold color but blue/ red.

Sorta glad it happened. The Autoart is better quality than the Norev.

ahahahah, yeah she sure is a looker and deserves more shots but despite the other cars are cheaper in terms of value and quality I'm in love with each of them...
The carbon-look of the 787B is stunning and the level of detail and quality is comparable to the C9.
I LOVE the rear view of the 905, the smooth lines of the GT-One (my third best car in terms of details) and the EXP Speed 8.
The MXR-01 has the most aggressive look of all the pack (probably my personal favourite) and the impressive work made by spark is the cherry on the cake!
About the 956L...the long tail makes her so beautiful and different from the others I've got (the removable engine cover is a great touch)...
I was unable to find the 908 with the Playstation sponsor (way better than the one I've got), too bad because it's one of the few recent LMPs I really like.
The V12 LMR is an iconic racer and despite I prefer the closed cockpit, it was a must buy, love the front view.
Last but not least, the Ferrari 333 SP, I was pretty happy Hot Wheels made "Elite" this livery, first because it's different from the classic Ferrari red, and second because the tricolore looks great on her!

And now my 4th 1/43 Ignition Model is on its way, along with my 1st 1/18 IG. I still need to get more pics of the RWB 964, the 993 GT2 Evo, and LBW 458 also. Maybe even do some group pics of modded cars too.

I look forward to seeing this NSX. :)

Well I got some good news right now myself can only hold about 40 models, but my uncle made me some custom shelves to fit myself so I can now hold it about 34 more, I'm very happy about this, I was happy and sad about running out of space because I met my goal of filling it up, but at the same time I didn't have any other room to put the other models that I have.

Goal of filling it up-
-Don't have room

These two ideals can never co-exist peacefully when you think about it.

When you set your mind onto "filling up", you'll start grabbing just about anything you see and eventually realize you probably shouldn't have picked up some of those cars the day you learn about some other future model you really really must have. Plus, what's the rush? ;)

But that's my two cents on the matter, since I am now even selling off a bunch of 1/64s after learning this through the years. Do what you need to do. I just wanted to share a thought.
