Accidental purchase arrived. Here's some initial pics of the smaller details I overlook when doing the whole lighting and backdrop stuff:

Is this solid or is it perforated? Find out next time.... when I upload more photos!

Is there even any opening in here? What's the point?!

How's the QC? Aside from the usual flat-spotting because the spacers they user are always short, I've noticed just a bit of residue stringy bit of adhesive near the diffuser, but that's it so far.

Wished the blue was a shade darker, but otherwise, it's loaded with details.

Edit: Found some relatively low-priced Ignitions (255CAD) + low shipping (38CAD) from China:

GT Spirit announced that they will be making full opening diecast models. I doubt that they will have their own assembly line nor they have the capitals to invest into one, so that probably have something to do with Kyosho too.

That and a price increase on resin models, I think. I'm looking forward to seeing what they can do with diecast, but I would really like their quality control to improve too. My last few models from them have been poor quality.

So far the only GTS I had any real issues with is my CLK-GTR, which was missing the rear CLK-GTR and AMG badges. Dunno if GTS ever sent them, since i Have yet to get anything in the mail lol...
Other than that my GTS models have had pretty good QC.

That's by AA, it's coming out in January, and I have noticed the absence of the subtle curve on the headlight's top edge:

edit: And wrong taillights too apparently?

Hmm, all they had to do was use the taillights from the 22B model they also made.

Looks good otherwise. I always wish I started collecting 1/18 Subarus, but now some of the older Autoart models are pricey.

Guys if you had a choice to get a 1/43 autoart Skyline r34 the special gran tursimo one for 60 CAD or a 1/18 autoart yellow lotus esprit turbo for 130 CAD, which one would you go for?

Get neither. 1/18 skyline is cooler, and you'll get bored of an Esprit sooner than any other car you may have.

Motivation for what anyway?

To work hard to buy these beautiful things?

Giving my certification exams which take the life out of me, I gave the big one during the summer and now on to the next. I like to buy one before and after the exam. Those pop-up head lights on the V8 esprit are pulling me towards it.

Let Almost Real's future releases be your motivation.

They are likely going to blow many brands out of the water.

Yeah... when I was flipping out over the purple 993 back in the days, here comes GTS with another purple 993:

Also a green Challenger, but I don't like it enough to share. :P

It's actually going to be bumper-less. Interesting indeed:

Only ones from GTS's and Otto's latest pre-orders I want are the Challenger Hellcat and 300ZX. I also want the 2018 Chevy Silverado GTS posted pics of, I think that one is slated for March.

I booked the 930 Turbo, of course I did. I will keep it unless they release it in a different color, I'm not crazy about black cars, but I do like the black on that particular car.

Hopefully this is the right place to ask, but can anyone recommend an F-16 model that is of good quality and a reasonable price? I want to get one for my friend as a Christmas present. I saw some by Tamiya that look great and are within my price range ($50, but I will go up to $60). Would you guys say to go for that or should I keep looking?

Are you looking for completed models or kits? Are you looking for a particular scale or are you basing all your decisions on the price?

Also which exact F-16 are you looking for?

I don't collect planes to be able to tell you if the price is worth it, but you can run your searched on HLJ.com, 1999.co.jp/eng, or even easier, on eBay.
