Very good price considering a regular Exoto costs £150 (The C9 set is £250, which is waaaay too much for me!). And a AutoArt 787B costs £100 which doesn't have as much detail.

Whenever someone says I spend too much on these 'toys' (they aren't in this C9's case) I simply reply that people spend more on cigarettes and booze in a week.

And I'm really jealous of your Skoda collection holden!

Well, with the McLarens coming in by Summer 2007, I figure I'd start just looking for some cheaper models.

So while at Lamborghini today, I noticed they had the Gallardo Polizia car, so I got one. They also had my yellow Murcielago Roadster that had a broken windshield when I took it out of the box. Almost a year ago after returning it for a black one, and they still have it. I'm touched.

'07 is when I plan to buy the 1:12 cars. It'd be awesome to have a re-release of the LM model, and a 1:18 GT.

Yep, very proud my best thread by about 2,450 posts
Its also great to know there are so many model car enthusiasts here, i dont know one other single person who collects model cars except on here and DH forums.

On another note, i hope my models on order turn up soon, recently ive purhcased 6 1:18 muscle cars from ebay.

ahh but the GT40 id have to get out of all the manufacturers who make one (about 3 i think, exoto, eagles race, GMP) would make it my first exoto
and i cant afford that

the GMP is 1:12 and more expensive than the exoto (do GMP make a 1:18? and whats the pricing?)
the eagles race (1:18) is fairly cheap but lacks the detail and looks off :\
the exoto should be just a about right

The Exoto should be better than "just about right" - it should be absolutely spot on.

I have a UT (I think) GT40, but in terms of detail, it's rubbish.

Exoto GT40s are great.

well, i have 6 models-
pagani zonda-orange
bugatti eb110-blue
ferrari f50-red (maisto diecast kit)
saleen s7-silver
lamborghini diablo-yellow
porsche 911 GT1 ('96)-white

and all together that's cost me about £67 on all, baring in mind i got the zonda for £9 due to 25% discount!

so as you can see- i havent spent alot yet

Thanks to Holden I just purchased the last M3 that Scale18.com had. It's not the same one he has but instead it has a carbon fiber roof and a different spoiler. Can't wait for it to arrive already XD.
