Yeah it did, just after you left (I think) we cruised around South Central. Was pretty cool, found some interesting spots too. Also, sorry guys I didn't realise how hated the Camaro is, sadly I only have that and a Focus, which I don't like, but I'm working on getting a better car now for next time!

I don't see why everyone drove the Camaro anyway, most of the muscle cars in the same class are more or less a similar speed.

We did some tests with the various muscle cars including the 2 new ones and they're all similar speedwise generally.

Very true, however I think most people drove it because you won it by beating someone near the beginning of the game. Atleast thats how I got mine.

Yea i know, but i mean the people who had more then that and still used the camaro in races against camaros when you could fairly use a Firebird or Challenger or something.

How did we like the cruise last night guys? We probably had a total of 10-12 people; but not all at once; GTP_Turbolag seems to still be the ring-leader, as he's one of the few people with a mic. I have one, but it's about useless with no ear-hang.. thing. Anywho, I'll upload my 2-3 photos from the cruise in a few hours.. it was a decent run; although it seemed that some people just got bored and left early on. We may have to change the meeting place though -- to the "not to scale" football stadium.. lol


As far as the Camaro goes, I only use it, because I am proud of it's vinyl job - it took me HOURS to make it a cop-car, and it's still not finished [some text is backwards on one side]; I was thinking about making my GTp Audi white or grey so you guys can actually SEE the GTplanet stuff on the sides. My RS-SS Camaro was designed after a Sema car, which I never pulled out; my goal is for every vehicle I have to have a unique paint job.

The only muscle car I actually enjoy using for races is the Cobra Concept; I use my Saleen S7"R" and GTP Audi otherwise.


One more note: Turbo, the police whistle was annoying after the first 30 seconds.. I had to turn down my head-set(i have to use earphones for my tv)

I enjoyed it, although I've never done one to compare it too. It would have been good if I managed to join earlier so then more people would be online. Oh and, I would agree with Suz on the note of the police siren...

Also, forgot to mention, I don't really know what happened during the part of the cruise where I fell off the interstate/highway, must have been a lapse in concentration. Anyway, it made me laugh!

ok, I'll remember next time. I didn't know it came out really that loud, because when Jonesy spoke I could barely hear it (and the volume was max).

Suzy, anyone with a mic will have to lead, sorry. It's either being organised well without a mic, or just doing it on the day with one. Next time you'll need to organise some set times so that nobody runs off randomly.

Anyway, I'd love to see if we can do another one in the next two weeks or something if possible before I have to send the game back. And I'll see if I can have some faster cars by then.

Nah, I sped up to take the photo actually. It's hard to take the photo from the back because you have no control over the car. 👍

My 55 Chevy, along with a few other peoples.. I think Turbo was the Jetta.

I was being pushy so I could get this shot, I was also being messaged by a few people on getting invites, so i kept pulling over to the side. Sorry bout that guys.

I also was messing around, and got my Police Package camaro stuck.. on a bench.. go figure.

If I remember correctly, I got my S7R stuck in mid-air during the "keep-away" match.. i tried to message turbo to get me un stuck but .. oh well. new game started as I was about to save my pic.

Also, I think the foot-ball stadium may be a better meeting place, only because it's actually IN south central, and people seem to have fun there while they're waiting.
