...so I should try to figure out some new ways to spend my time whit the game. I mean straight out grinding is good for me I can improve just by finding better lines, but there could still be different ways to get better.
Thanks mate, I think I'll do that one's I have the time to figure out the system. I mean I'm not the best in reading and it seems there's a lot of rules. And if you could it would be nice to open it up even just a bit how it works. (sorry i'm lazy and I'll figure it out as soon as I got some time on my hands and don't want to drive)You could always go & register for the WRS TT's. You'll get lots of help there...
How much you guys usually run these TT's? How do you think It's working for you? Do you take same sort of brakes while grinding?
For me it's from 1 hour up to over 4 hours a day. And the why I ask is just to see how you guys do it and would there be something I haven't tryed out yet. I mean there's no way form me to do any more hours, so I should try to figure out some new ways to spend my time whit the game. Here’s my X-Bow tune if anyone wants to try it. I suspect it will be more useful to DS3 users.

It depends on the TT, if I am faster in one, I will focus mostly on that. With college and stuff, time can be hard to find, I try to do about 60-90 minute stints at a time and leave if I run too many red laps. Sometimes it helps to come back to it on another day. Back in January, a ranking of 10 000-20 000 was a big achievement for me but the forums here on GTP have helped me improve. Learnt a few things by reading the basic tuning guide, the posts regarding DS3s about different controller setups and sensitivity etc... The seasonal event tunes that have been posted on GTP have also helped greatly:tup:. Joined this club as I am always looking to learn and improve. How much you guys usually run these TT's? I find it difficult to use a lot of the tunes that are published by wheel users, for instance the oversteer on Stottys tune makes it difficult to use with limited throttle control.
Hey,
If you try one of my tunes and you'd like a different balance, just ask me directly in the thread.
Given I've built it from scratch, and know how the different settings react to each other, it's relatively easy for me to suggest some simple changes if I know where you're having problems.
My tunes primarily use LSD and Rear Toe to manage the balance of the car - so depending on where you have oversteer (corner entry or exit), it's quite easy to adjust these to make the car easier to drive.
I can run high 1'06's with that tune using the DS3, so might be more your style than the tune that's causing the issues - But I can most likely still make the tune easier for you if you let me know what the specific problems are
Also... suggest you make an effort to stop using TC. It will hold you back and you'll become reliant on it. If you persevere without it for a while you should become a faster driver. 👍
Nothing wrong with using X for throttle... might not be as accurate as the triggers, but it's what I use on the DS3 👍
And didn't interpret your comments that way... my tune won't suit everyone as it stands, but I'm happy to make/suggest changes if needed.
Have always used the X button for acceleration (don't use sticks for anything) and accept the limits of using it, especially where fine control is concerned. So yes, I sometimes compensate by using TC if I can't find a tune which helps control wheel spin using the LSD. Had stopped using TC in the Ascari race but when I used Stotty's tune I found TC1 or 2 helped a great deal. Finished with 2:07.489 for pos 135.Nothing wrong with using X for throttle... might not be as accurate as the triggers, but it's what I use on the DS3 👍
