It's indeed coming! I had to go through 30 minutes of Christmas music and two taxi rides, where both drivers were listening to the local radio, which plays Christmas music...



But I'm still Wham!-free! :D

Yep, Last Christmas is in the top 100 in the chart, so it'll be in the top 40 very soon. STAY AWAY FROM THE CHART SHOW if you want to survive.

I came very close to getting Whammed! just now. I was browsing through user profiles, and came across dice's. Out of curiosity, I clicked on a YouTube link...and Wham! came up, but as the computer I was using didn't have speakers, and I didn't have earphones plugged in, I was safe.

Also, the shopping centre in Maynooth (where I attend uni) is playing Christmas music now, and I usually go there to get lunch. They were playing Slade's "I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday", so I guess they're inevitably going to play "Last Christmas". :nervous:
 
Every Monday and Friday, my friend's mum picks me up from school. They always play music in the car, and I have no control over it. It looks like getting Whammed is a matter of time.

Several close shaves, actually mini-3 song-challenges taken on and won.
I'm on a roll. I'm bright-eyed and bushy tailed, and sniffing the air like there was fresh buck downwind.

Still . . . it's a jungle out there. Not sure when I'll fall, hope it will be with some dignity, and not rolling on the floor crying, swearing, angry, vindictive . . .

@Korza - has your brain turned to jelly yet? Better check your palms, too; any fur on there? Twelve times is way too much whamming - there has to be some side-effects.
 
Well, it happened, I got in my friends car after school and the second she fired it up Last Christmas was playing...
 
I've heard very little christmas music thus far but--oh crap--there's a big Christmas tree in front of the capitol building and in the main downtown square (which, for the record, is round)!
 
There ain't no shame in getting down with some TSO.
 
Went and did a ton of Christmas shopping today and they were playing English Christmas music. No wham. All I have left to buy is the wife's Christmas present and I'm done. I've been sick, so I'll probably skip the office Christmas party too.

I'm a little paranoid about the store I'm going to buy gt6 from. After all, I read about gt (and gtp vs the wham) on the same website. Imagine getting whammed while buying gt6...
 
Wham free since last year. Had some close calls though.
Gets harder every time I leave the safety of my home. I'm afraid I won't last much longer.
 
ah right. I've been whammed two days in a row.

Dec. 2, 7:30 pm. I was at a mall together with my mom. I was there to buy me a new scientific calculator, and afterwards my mom's gonna photocopy something. The queue's pretty long so I went outside the store and took a seat. And then the song strikes. I don't know what it is, but while listening for a few more seconds, I recognized the cheesy vocals and the MIDI melody thing. It's definitely that song.

Dec 3, 7:00 pm. Same mall. Came from dinner, went to a bakeshop with my parents, and it took her a while so I went outside and took a seat again. I was listening to Without Me by Eminem, but somehow Wham can penetrate through my Bluetooth headset.

Quite a double-whammy.

A couple of weeks ago I said that I knew how I would be Whammed, by the radio at the work programme where I have to go and d a job search twice a week, well guess what happened today, it was about the third song they played after I sat down there I didn't here all of it but it was enough to realise!..

...and its only the 3rd of December....
