I survived 2012 but only just. I nearly got Whammed by a member of family but I was saved by the New Year Countdown .

Despite hearing Wham! and Last Christmas*, I have avoided being Whammed! in 2012 (well, at least in November and December anyway).

(*the Wham! song I'd heard was Wake Me Up Before You Go Go, and I'd heard a cover of Last Christmas - at least I'm sure it was a cover, as it didn't sound like George Michaels singing)
