I doubt i'll be the only one to win a race in the LMP. In fact, I believe my 2 race streak will come to an end in the very next race (Le Sarthe), as there is someone in the field (i'll leave his identity a secret for now) who is seconds quicker than I am on a single lap around that track.

Hopefully, that person is me!:):sly:

Im not sure wether the Ford is too fast or not - its always tough balancing these cars becuase it can only be in response to how i drive them. It may just be that you are that fast Austin, as the other 2 Fords finished 6th and 7th?

On the tire business, i always work out a best strategy using all the combinations and plan my pits whenever the lap time drops by more than 0.5 secs. Sometimes its worth stretching the extra lap, but you can lose so much time trying to keep on the track especially with the back end flailing around.

I would see Sarthe as a posibility for myself as the Pescarolo's should be slow(ish) here. Alas i've never really got the hang of the place, so i'm not expecting much.

Thanks for the feedback on the tires guys. That 7th place finish is okay with me. Never have driven in these long races before. Used B Spec alot(bad boy!). Tough to do the long races with 3 boys in the house. Dad, can we play Final Fantasy? Dad, can we play Kingdom Hearts?

Doing the races after 1am. they're all asleep.

As for me the problem was lack of concentration towards the end!!!
1st. I did not refuel on what could have been my last pit which means I would've had 4 pits total. and that is only because I chose to do a set of laps with the soft tires. If I would have stuck with the hards I would have only had 3 pits.
2nd. I got spun around and sent to the pits again!!!
I was @ 46' with 4 laps to go. The Ford is definitely fast all around even with the extra weight it is very manageable.
