This is one of my best drifters on slow to medium tracks.
It finds mad angle then grip and powers through in an armageddon of smoke and fury.
I usually just brake the car into a slide, so I never seem to need to use the handbrake on it.
The car is almost impossible to spin out, but can be prone to slide wide if you enter the corners too fast or just at the wrong angle or time, and it is sensitive to off camber corners.
Might not suit everyone, but should work for almost any drifter.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Enjoy gentlemen!

*Setup was made with a DS3 controller, but works fine when I use my Fanatec wheel too*

Will this setup work with a "Dual Shock 3 PS3 Controller?"

Meh, I'll just tweak it a little bit.

Tuned on a Fanatec PWTS wheel.

Use 3rd gear almost everywhere, but drop it to 2nd when you loose revs.

If you want to save money, you can skip the Exhaust parts, stock is powerfull as it is, but I had a tuned one
so I used that

Have fun trying it, and let me know what you think of it.

Little description of handling characteristics: This thing comes stock with about 600+ hp. Theres plenty of torque to sustain rpms and keep steady lines. If you drift in AM you probably should start learning how to drift in manual. This is an awsome car once you can control it.

Edit: Try about a -1.0 rear Toe angle on tracks with elevation change. This seems to help out the car alot.
Comfort Med. for speed drifting. Comfort Hard for Style/Angles

is it for DS3?

Settings for a Ps3 controller Please!

4wd cars is bad enough, but to be asking for 'drift' setups for front wheels drive cars (in bold) is just a joke. It can't be done, it will never be done. Please do some research on drifting before asking for things which are impossible.

I Actually own a 1991 240sx, shes a slvery-blue metallic.
Bored out engine- Bored out round... 90mm.
I have to replace the turbo though, it smokes A LOT. It goes down the 1/4 mile in 11 seconds and she slides like a dream.
If you want to see photo(s) I can link you to my face book.

Yes, setup for amuse s2000 gt1 turbo is good for ds3. I have been taking my s2000 for a ride, its doing well. Its not so easy as Anemiya FD3S Spirit Type R, but you can learn drifting with it :)

How do i get the Anemiya FD3S Spirit Type R then? :D

K, see ya.

Why don't you use the one I put on here, the page before I think it is for ds3 controller ???? It's an awesome set up?

I'll PM you later mate ;)

Sweet!
Can't seem to get the snappiness out of it.

The E46 M3 and E92 M3 is getting alittle boring now and I don't usually have much time with college and work these days to mess around getting cars perfect when I only have a few hours at the weekend to play :(

If they want to contribute, they should go about it the formal and correct way. Not specifying wheel/controller is a big waste of time and credits if it's not right for the person looking to try it out.

Please guys this is important for new drifters looking to get into wheel drifting.
I'm sorry but this caught my attention. What about those who have no wheel? The title said controller/wheel not wheel specificly. I don't have a wheel. I am new to drifting, and I am looking for what people say is a good car for drifting, and what a good setup would be. I understand that everyone is going to drift better with different cars due to their personal driving style but saying whther or not the setup is for a wheel or not would help. I'm sorry for being off topic but some people have to relaized that others may not have a wheel and those who don't have a wheel shouldn't be put to a lower standard

Lol umm buddy i think he is saying someone didn't specify wheel or controller and he wasted time/credits because of that

I dont mean to sound like a total freak but could someone please post a nascar setup, always thought drifting one of these would look pretty cool
i drift with a controller i just manged with it stock on comfort hards with a careful use of the hand brake it works well
though just be careful u don't get kicked online as i did

Alright so I haven't posted much, but I am a fan of drifting. I only recently started drifting on GT5 but I'm a quick learner. I've tested out a few cars, the C63 Mercedes, some RX-7 and a few others, but my favorited is the BMW Z4 M Coupe '08, premium car. It handles like a beast, and I figured I'd post the tune here.

BMW Z4 M Coupe '08 (DualShock3 Tune)

Parts
Basically everything

Tuning
Aerodynamics: 20 in the rear

Ballast: Default

Engine: Default (Should be around 443hp)

Transmission: (Note, I tuned this for mainly 2nd and 3rd gear drifts)
1st - 3.624
2nd - 2.676
3rd - 2.074
4th - 1.655
5th - 1.362
6th - 1.145
Final - 3.302
Top Speed - 186mph

LSD: 60, 60, 60

Suspension:
Ride Height: -20, -20
Spring Rate: 7.5, 8.0
Dampers: 5 for all
Anti-Roll: 3, 3
Camber: 3.0, 4.0
Toe: 0.00, 0.20

Brake Balance: 0, 10

Tires: Comfort Hard or Medium

Again this is for a dualshock 3 tune. I've done hundreds of laps with this car at the Tsukuba circuit with this exact tune pretty much. The only thing I really change is the rear camber, sometimes I'll set it higher, around 5 or so, for more out-of-the-corner speed.
