Ok guys. I have been considering my options with my RX-7 and I dont feel it would be able to compete comfortably in tmax with 500+hp. I have had an idea and I want to make sure its ok with you guys first. I want to use a dodge Viper ACR But, The only mods it has ar Suspension, Gearbox(6spd close) and the Drivtrain mods. No weight reduce, power adders or stickier tires. Stock sports hards Does anyone have an Issue with this? I havent even done an oil change on it. If there are any concerns or issues let me know. I'm tuning it for my Garage and would like to show it off. I should have it posted at the watering hole soon.

I've basically lost track of this thread. Can someone give me a brief recap?

Hei
As long as we get our team battle 1st.

Is 2:46.895 good for TMAX?

My 550 GT-R runs a 2:47.2 ish, and that's just the '07. Try a little harder.

I would love to see this. The ACR is great, but I'd recommend at least putting stickier tires on.

Edit: After watching part 2, I can say I'm fairly disappointed; I'm not only disappointed that my car lost (Though I knew it wouldn't beat out those MR's), but overall with the quality of that racing. I know all of those cars could have been run much harder and much faster. I also think it's a little unfair to let the tuners drive their own cars for the finals, so I'd like to volunteer to be a tester, since I know Akina well enough to drive cars hard and fast there. I'm not sure about entering another battle because I'm afraid of the quality of the results.

Recap? Basically, Desperado pulled from further involvement with this thread, I went berserk with the thrashing which results in T200 ending on a questionable note with chances of a rerun for the finals, and T300 is starting now.

That's about it, I think. Oh yea, and after this, Slender's not going to take part in T200 testing since it's just too tiresome.

Yeah, I just went back and read all the important details. I'd like to see a re-run of T200, but at this point, I don't think I want to worry about it. The results took so long already that I'm not sure it would be worth re-recording part 2. I think I just want to move on to T300 and not worry about it anymore.

Mat, is it at all possible for me to become a tester?

I actually think stickier tires would hurt more than help as I tend to like my cars on the drifty side for defensive reasons. A sideways car blocks more of the track. but I'd like to hear from officials first on this before I delve too much into it. I feel if I do too much to the car I'll have a seriously unfair car.

Onboy123 do you remember my ACR '11? It's similar in handling but dialed WAYY back on power.

I did say that you needed to step up and be a tester to match Slender as the faster of the testers. :P I said it should be re-released as a "bonus"/Alternate ending to T200, but that's not decided yet.

Don't say that, there's a 650hp R34, a few R35s and also possibly my Impreza as well (wish I could hybrid 10% more power to make it more competitive…it's only 10%!! I kid), none of which are by any means slow. The ACR on SS should be enough to keep pace, since you really can't use much more than 500hp most the time there, it seems, unless you have a R35…then it's a case of how much power can you get from it.

I remember it, it was on slicks back then though, and had 400hp too much.

I am interested. If I get free time this week, I would like to tune with you. My car has around 570 hp and 580 ft lbs. It is a monster lol.

I dont want to use no where near that much power lol when the car was given to SVX it had 1038hp and was nearly to powerful to be driven period even tuned lol. I also do not wish to become one of the banned cars lol.

Hei
It's a MR, and I was sideways most of the lap. So I guess I'm ok. Just need to make it easier to drive.

It needs a wing so badly, otherwise it's scary to even drive behind it for fear of you spinning.

They were tuned for Eiger, but I am sure they only need little tweak to get fast at Akina :)

The FR NA is ICode Lexus ISF replica, the real one has 450 whp, this one is the big brother

^ I tune at eiger as well. I find it's more realistic bc it really is a Mtn. pass road. It's also great fun to see your car flying through the air on the front stretch.

The spoiler is a last resort

It isn't though. Though the tuning is preference. I prefer toscana as I'm used to it.

^in the sense that it isnt a real Mtn rd yeah. But it is modeled after real mountain roads in that part of Europe. If you ran 3-4 laps it would be roughly the same as running a up/downhill combo . But, as you said Tuning is preference.

Sneak a peek :

The Lexus can do 1:06 or 1:07 if not mistaken at Eiger. The ACR I tuned was faster by almost a second ( as far as I can remember ) I tuned them more than 6 months ago - so may not be accurate, ... the touge showdown is crawling

Knowing that you can keep up with Slender, of course! So basically, during battles, it's you against Slender, then me against Tak, that way, the battle is somewhat more fair than recent results.

Oh, guys, another option, should we continue on building the cars/having the tuner send duplicates of their cars? Or should the tuners put the car on share instead? The differences in online and offline still confuse me. :/

Also, in unrelated news, I've recently discovered the world of modding. lol

Me and Slender already have an AE86 project going on. The engine and chassis have been swapped with the R1 components. The wheels are poking out.

Another project I've recently finished is an S15 on a 370Z chassis, with the RB25 from Nomuken's ER34. :D 700BHP :dopey:

Alright, cool. It'll be great to test out some different tunes, and be able to drive without having to worry about tuning the car myself.

I don't mind a tuner sending duplicates, but it could take a few days to get the cars to each tester. Having it on share would be a good idea because I can just use a certain tool to obtain the shared cars for myself.

I have to get a copy of that 86. That sounds absolutely crazy. And it's not like it's an unrealistic swap, seeing as lots of tuners swap the F20/22C into 86s.

I mostly tune my touge car on nurbs norde since it is mountain road with bumps, uphill and downhill..

Since we've sort of derailed to talk about hybrids, I may as well talk about two recent ones I'm getting done. One is a 650hp, RB26 (from the R33 for better power band) version of my TMax Impreza, used only to see if I can make R35s crap themselves and to push the limit of the Spec C's chassis and such. :D

The second one is a CT230R with a 6th gear, 783hp. I wanted to get it in Black with Purple chrome slashes, but that wasn't possible so it's still wearing the red livery.

And now we're really off topic.

I think I have it on share right now.

I'll have to check when I wake up.

R35s being afraid of a little Impreza? Riiight.

Well, I've not got the Impreza back yet, but as long as it can run times as quick as a R35, then I'm happy. :P

I have this sudden urge that makes me want to challenge you...

I'll battle you with my S15, if that's fine. I'm planning to convert it to all-wheel drive.

Anyways, when do you guys want the cars for T300 to be submitted?

What's the stats of the S15? 900hp version of the Tsukuba lap record holder thing?

I'm pretty much ready, I think. Uhh..T300 done and dusted with by Easter?

The S15 has 700BHP. I've transplanted the engine from the Blitz ER34 (premium one, with the epic sounds.) I'll still convert it to AWD. :D

I think I'll set the deadline for the end of the week, so that once my tests are over, I could get testing immediately.
