My entry is finished outside of break-in and possible resulting tweaks to parts selection.

It was finished the first time I drove it though... Not sure if good sign or bad sign but it feels really wicked.

It's presently on share, waiting for Roj to get off Unreal, chop up the banners for it, and get me the parts/settings list (PS3 is downstairs and I can't find a notepad). I doubt it'll really threaten the Imprezas on pace (though in my own testing it's about 4 seconds quicker than an early version of Onboy's Pretzel was) but it drives seriously well.

My ratings are based on driving feel and then sector times, so as long as it drives well, it'll get a good score.

I seriously need help figuring out Snake's and Optomoscrime's gear ratios. I can't even get Optomoscrime's and Snake's look a little weird to me.

Looks like they used km/h instead of mph for the "top speed" setting, so try 112.

Tried, and Optomos' were still out of reach. Really confused here.

We both used MPH.

For mine, you set top speed THEN final gear. for optomus' you set FINAL GEAR then TOP SPEED. Afterwards, individual gear ratios.

Worth noting, for my car, it's meant to be quickbetween 2nd and 4th gears though you'll spend most time in 3rd gear andgo down to 2nd for the slower corners out there. Since the shifting point is above 8000RPM and the mas torque and power are 1000RPM apart between 5k and 6k, I suggest you shift up at 7000RPM unless you're at higher speeds in 4th gear. In which case you'd shift up at 8000-8500RPM.

The reason for such long gears in mine is because of the big mid-rpm range turbo kit and the drastic drop in power and torque at a certain engine speed, I kinda had to tune the gears for higher speeds than actually capable just to make most use of the turbo. Instead of tuning for the 8400RPM redline, I tuned it for 7000RPM shifting points. It can be revved all the way up to 8500RPM id\f need be.

I'm a tad scared now lol. I knew this would be a David vs. Goliath thing for me in terms of tuning ability but I have a feeling I may not even make Honorable mention. Oh well... all is in good fun 👍 If at the very least I should gain some knowledge on how to improve my tuning.
 
I just have RJ's car to review and then I'm basically done. I'll do some proofreading and editing tomorrow, and my results should be posted Tuesday.
 
Lol, I'm pretty self aware. I came in not expecting to win but hoped to a) get my name out there in the tuning world and b) get information on how good/bad my tunes are and an idea of how to improve on my theory.

In all honesty I'm more excited to get on with Tmax so I can see how my Venom Viper fares.

I figured out the gearing on both, thanks. I was short shifting based on my knowledge of the powerband; both cars accelerate like rockets when you shift right.

I can probably get it done. My reviews sound very objective.. Should I make them sound a little more personal? Or would I just sound biased? I want my reviews to be as fair as possible.
