GTPs WEEKLY (now its real) drawing comp #1: Dodge Challenger!

OK, first of all, read this. as I have stated, we will now have TWO comps each week, one will be with a base car (this one), the other one, a more strange one with a theme or something like that. I'd ask all of you to please participate in both, and I hope to see good participation, even if the artistic competitions have been really empty lately. This competition, the one with a base car, will be REALLY weekly, and the poll for it will be posted sunday night, ALWAYS, so if you wanna enter, please respect the time tag. the other comp may last two weeks.

So, for this renewed first compeition, we will make a muscle car that has perused me from some time now, a 1970 Dodge Challenger. I even sat in one today, a 340 TA. Nice cars. Do whatever you want with this thing, there are no rules, just that you have ONE WEEK to get it here. get to draw. Base pics:

and well...next is everything you'd need to draw one. I would also suggest you READ and check out all the photos of this purple Challenger, wich has a transplanted FIVEHUNDRED AND TWENTYEIGHT INCH HEMI in the engine bay. take a look:

I have drawn a view of mine. The front is very small compared to the rest and it looks a little screwed. But I'll draw it again and try to get it right. I've also started a different view. I've only done small mods to mine.

I have a rough idea of what its going to look like, Its a modern interpretation built on a modded Magnum chassis. Im thinking a Viper V10 should do the trick.
Ill do a final tonight, hopefully it will be in before the deadline.

Viper next week. as for your entry, Sunny, the wire wjheels look ooooodd in a muscle car. maybe some straightening of the body would do (and also chekin´out where the rear raises) but its good. come on people, I have to see everyone's here (mine is inking itself right now, its magic)

now, here is mine. in fact, the poll is going to be posted THIS late because I was finishing colouring. and THEN the scanner screwed the drawing up and I had to fix it (the upper half looked yellow -_-) but here it is:
it has many body mods but veeeery subtle, and that sketch of the engine over there. took a good chink of time, and its going to the portfolio of my site (:

I had an ok one, but I threw it out cuz I couldnt get the wheels and headlights to be friends.
