I'm in love with the Ferrari on the GTR Demo2. It handles like a dream, even with keyboard!!

My fastest lap is a 2'01.xxx but i reckon i could get under 2mins. Anyone else care to put their time up in this car?

The track was Spa.

Is that Arcade or Simulation mode?

I'm running 2:08-2:09, in Sim mode, with the DFP and the Courage C60...Medium tires. With the Ferrari 575, I was doing about 2:15, Sim mode.
 
Hi yes this is a great game and its in the same league as gran turismo (kick ass)

i run this game on full settings with a 6200 256mb geforce card and 768mb ram. for those people wondering about specs

we should setup an online game sometime, im brand new to the game but love it to bits.

they can with the slickmod by kegetys. but they only have like a little over 20 degrees steering lock when u need alot more to pull off D1 style drifts... but you can use rally tires on the fxr if you use the slickmod :D


if you want to have a laugh, put slick tires on the gti or xrg. Make sure to stiffen up the suspension or the car will flip.... easily.

i wonder if putting slicks on an old 1980's civic in gt5 will have the same effect. :)
 
Really? Even though it's touted as the best road car simulator?

And has gone through numerous patches and sales?

AND has perfect reviews?

1st of all netkar is going to have more real cars. like zonda and ferrari and formula cars... plus look at the graphics. 👍

look at the detail on the tires alone.

if its pre-rendered, why does it say ingame screenshot in the bottom of the image? are they lying? did you translate the page from italian to english? how do you know? lol

If you don't know what NetKar Pro is all about, maybe you should better shut up.

Go to the Netkar forum on RacesimCentral, you'll learn a hell of a lot about NetKar... :)
 
yeah... i just got confirmation from a beta tester that those were ingame graphics. not pre rendered... i knew they werent lol.
 
The DBR9 is...wow. 1.0 is ok. It's really fast but feels like it has ZERO grip. And when I say that, I really mean it! I spun out all the time, I even had to resort to using Low TC and I still spun out. I ran a 1:44.4 on Barcelona with 1.0. I just now see that 1.1 is out, with headlights and all. It feels SO much better. Supposedly it's slower, but it's so much easier to drive that I can push so much more and get better times. My first lap ever in 1.1 was a 1:42.5! With the stock setup!

The mod is the highest quality mod I've ever seen in GTR. The interior is just like (maybe better than) the cars that came with GTR. The sound is off, but it's so hard to recreate it doesn't matter. The car is BEAUTIFUL inside and out. Accurate too.

I totally agree, I've been racing in that car since I got it the other week.
 
Is it just me or do the cars in GTR look much better (graphicaly) then GTL's cars???
The Cars in GTL look so cartoonish :ouch: . The graphics are very good but I like the graphics engine of GTR a lot more. :)

funny thing is, i've driven on the ring so many times in gt4 and other games that i recognize every corner in those pics. :dopey:


its supposed to come up before the end of 2005... but it looks like it will be out early 2006
 
I might look into that NetKar but all I can ever find are skins for single seaters, I don't have a clue where you download all the other cars I've spotted in screenshots for it. Until then theres no reason to leave GTR and RFactor, I'm really into the new Porsche Carrera cup mod for RFactor.
