Hmm doesn't seem that clear to me in the rules. I'd been practicing for a good few hours doing clean fair laps. If I'd known we were allowed to cut that much I'd have practiced doing so and would probably have been able to knock around a second off each lap time. Are those of us that didn't cut allowed to do our qualifying again so that we can cut too? No wonder I couldn't get into the 2.06s:tdown:
 
We should exclude using the short word Pag because sometimes I don't know if it Paginas or me you guys are referring to haha :dopey:
 
OH!! so that's hou you guy's hit the 2.06" i thought the limit of the track was the "wite line"...

Correct
 
It says in the Track Conduct Rules (1st post in this topic) that the kerbs (red/white) are part of the track too. You have to therefore have two wheels within the white lines or on red/white kerbing at all times for a lap to be clean.

- firestorm847152 | United States | PAL | GT500 wasn't in the room and never tried to join it.

- Dazmeister22: I don't know his first/last name and i don't find him in the current sign up list.

- GTP_Nissen: I have watched his replay 3 times. His 3rd and 4th laps are CLEAN. End of discussion, thanx.

- kiyak44: He was disturbed during the session by Toyotsupra who was joining the room. A driver has the right to leave and return, it is not prohibited in the regulations. However, do not abuse 👍 .

kiyak44 had to leave the room so there was only me and NEPALII in the room, no one else. He decided to do his quali, and me, just after him.
No worry guys. All Stewards respect very strictly the WSGTC rules and regulations. Stewards will never try to cheat, I swear. They are the hunter cheats. Trust to your Stewards

Paginas is a Steward, I watched his quali session so check the page 28 post #549 👍 . Rules are the same far all...

Sorrg litch and masi. Wanna ask something about clean and dirty laps

i take example from 130r (the lefthanded corner with high speed, before last chicane).

Is it clean when your car is:

2 left tyres on the grass
2 right tyres on the kurb (red white strip) or tarmac.

????

Just need confirmation. If I do that, I think I can shave some seconds hehehe.

If I see the rules, it is clean

I'd be happy to switch to GT300. I don't think I'm going to be in the 2:06-7's here, so maybe GT300 would be better for me / more competitive...

As stated in the OP, yes it is clean.

Remember though that artificial green turf/concrete (like on the last chicanes) is not part of the track - only the red/white rumble strips.
