Well i only got 1 answer from someone (josh),

I was wondering if we could put the race start back 30 mins as i dont finish work till 9pm on friday?

Only if its ok with EVERYONE

As far as I know it works for me too.

Pag, I am ok with the 30 min delay. I am even ok with 60 min if you need the extra time.

Hey fellas, ill update the OP today. I won't be able to race on friday so i really can't have a say about delaying the start.

Anyway, about future DLC.

Predictions: I still remember GT5 Prologue with its weather forecast locations. Seeing this list gives me the chills. Hopefully, the trend will continue - without the dreaded 1 year wait! Which is next? :scared:

Monza (Italy) - Check!
Zolder and Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) - Check!
Imola (Italy)
Shanghai (China)
Hockenheim (Germany)
Magny-Cours (France)
Estoril (Portugal)
Jerez (Spain)
Silverstone and Brands-Hatch (UK)

Spent a little time with the NSX at Nurb24hr. Not sure what is wrong with my settings, but it is impossible to survive the Karoussell. No matter how slow I go, the NSX rear comes all the way around. Same with the one other mid banked left turn later in the lap.

The rest of the time the car is push, push, push, and then the rear spins out. Its like I need a lot more rear downforce, so I can loosen up my settings a little bit.

I would love any suggestions any of you might have.

I guess I will try a little less ride height, but its only at -9/-10 right now.

camber 1.5/1.0 and toe -.03/+.1

Edit -

Remy and I are in this practice room:

1472-6118-4259-7715-2738 CLOSED

Edit #2 -
Now just me in the room and I need to step out for a bit. Welcome to join and practice though. I will leave the room up.

If anything I'd say toe and ride height, maybe try rear toe+, to a higher degree then you have, toe is supposed to have a bigger effect on slower corners.
Ride height seems to effect these "weird" corners more dramatically then spring rate, so I'd stiffen the left side suspension a bit and make the front lower then the rear, and use the rake to counter the under-steer.

Anyone up for some laps?
Is Red's room still open? I'm game for some laps here in a bit, whether I make a room shortly or someone else has one open already either works for me.

Thanks for the tips CSL! I will try those later tonight.

When I left the room, Owens was still in it.. So I am not sure whether it is still open or not.

NP - You get your wheel back yet?

I should be joining the room in about 10 if it's still up.

Yeah.. lol, It finally came in yesterday. I forgot what one feels like when its new.

It was a bit "notchy" at first, but once I ran a few hours of laps, it loosened up nicely. Best of all, I get to drive with the wheel being straight.:)

Sounds good, good to have you back.
BTW - I think FFB changed in the game with Spec II, or am I crazy?
I was going for the Vettel event offline with my DFGT unplugged, and once I plugged it back on with the Yellowhat it was just plain hard to turn, idk.

Let me know if you guys are in a room or something... I might join.

If this is still up, I'll be there in a few minutes, if not, I'll just make another.👍

Just got hungry all of a sudden  hmm maybe tomorrow i'll practice, sorry

No worries, the room's closed, if anyone else is around that wants to post up, I'll be in a room with TnJF aka DrWatson playing with the new GTR on Nurb24 for a bit.

I have read that people see a difference in the physics.. I don't notice it. But I made the change to the new G27 at the same time as the update.

Did you map your G27 buttons to the G27 on options? Do that, then go drive a car on Sports Hard(BMW M3 Coupe for example). I noticed better response in countering oversteer and the clutch works much better. I can actually drive with the clutch now, and stay within a sec of my PB.

I will have to give that a shot. I haven't used the clutch much in game as I am quite slow with it. Been meaning to learn to heel/toe, so now seems as good of a time as any.

I don't have a clutch, but it does seem easier to counter over-steer to me as well, with the DFGT.

I'm ok with moving Green flag 30 min.. But it's getting late in Sweden by the end of the race..

I'll open up a quali room shortly..

CLOSED!

As a reminder, pack will form a single file prior start. Not double files as usual.
I'll add it to the round specific thread as well. 👍

Here's the new incident complaint form we'll be using for this week's race. There will be a new one made each week for each round.

http://bit.ly/wsgtcreportmonaco

This is what you're going to do with it:

  • If you run into an accident in the race and feel wrong'd, use it to lodge your complaint. This will put all of the potential incidents into one place for all of us (stewards) to see and review.
  • Re-submit a complaint if you're reporting multiple incidents. Do not attempt to report more than one incident on the same form, simply finish your first report, then go back and re-do the whole thing.
  • The only requirement for submitting incidents is that you must be an active member of the series-You do not need to be a steward of have been involved in the incident itself in order to report anything.
  • Even if you feel like leaving the reporting to someone else, still, report it. It would be more than useful to have multiple takes on the same incidents.
  • You're not required to write a story if you don't want to, you only need point out the specific time and area the incident occurred on. This will help the stewards greatly in collecting all mishaps related to the race, review them efficiently and in a timely matter.
  • It's not necessary to PM the stewards with your complaint as long as you've first submitted a report to us through the official form. After you've lodged your complaints, breathe easy and simply wait for US to contact YOU.
  • Carefully read and understand each question before you finally submit the report. It'll prevent us having to do guess work on what you meant and further speed up the process of review.
  • Don't worry about being implicated in a penalty that you're reporting someone else for. Your submission will be treated anonymously.

Happy racing.

Laps: 11

  • Qualification rules for week 11, Nurburgring 24 h, will commence as prior the La Sarthe Race. Since the track is so huge, your lap start from the sector just before Flugplatz and to the finish line. Concider the secotrs before Flugplatz as your warm up lap. Only one shot! No second lap to wish fore in case of an off.

[*]Green Flag: Polecar will decide where the start is (somewhere before the same sector indicator prior Flugplats as your quali started from). He must make sure that ALL cars are clear of the last turn before starting.
It's totally up to the pole car, as long as ALL cars behind him are on the straight. He can not start the race if the last car is still in the middle of the last turn. Pole car has right side of track for first right turn.
IMPORTANT: Pack will role SINGLE file (A long snake of cars) during the warm up section, and prior start, NOT double file as usual due to the narrow track.

[*]Make sure to stay on track at ALL times with at least 2 wheels touching white line / Red / White curb. You can not use run offs or tarmac of any kind to gain speed. You will be penalized heavily during the race and disqualified for having a dirty lap in qualifying.
Just stay inside the rumble strips and course white (yellow) lines.

    [*]Same class race

[*]If you feel insecure of where the track limit is, just join a quali-session during mon-thursday and ask a steward to do a slow lap with you.

    [*]Pit lane.
Entry: No issues. Make sure to turn in to the pits before the entry is separated by solid lines. Always at least 2 wheels on the track.

Exit: Make sure to stay on the INSIDE of the solid pit exit line with all 4!! wheels. Going outside the lines by the slightest can cause major crashes with cars commnig down the straight close to 200 mph. Any incident caused due to breach of pit exit rules will be penalized heavily.
Cars on track do not need to stay outside of the pit exit lines. But if an incident occur with a car comming out from the pits, it's the car on tracks responsibility, and penalties will come as a result if an incident is caused, as long as the incident occurs on the inside of the pit exit lines.

General: When entering and exiting pits, the solid lines are ment to be respected.
