F@$& me. Sorry guys, I was hoping to be home right around 6 CDT, but both of my games got delayed by 30 mins, so here I am at 7 CDT... Why the hell can't I catch a break? :banghead:

Wanna make up for it with some F1 tonight :)

Saddled with weight and torque of a weed eater. I was getting mauled down the straight but was making it up in the twistys.

Results pic for Fuji F. I think it's right.

I had terrible tyre wear and miss calculated my pitstops I felt like a road block for other drivers. I need to completely redo my setup. but nice job all gt300 n 500 drivers had fun battling for the lead for the first few laps and even go to lead some so it wasn't all bad.

EDIT: I think ill b able to race next sat so if anyone is practicing pm me on psn

Twin Ring Motegi
A tough course that requires concentration due to the lack of runoff and will be hard on rear tyres. This track is quite easy to drive and a rhythm isn't essential to a good lap here.

Turn 1
This corner is a full lock corner after heavy braking. It tightens on exit so if overtaking here please leave room and be aware you will run wide. Because of the long straight it is possible to lap GT300s here.

Turn 2 and Turn 3
This is basically a double apex corner so can be treated as one. The entry is deceiving as it tightens after the first apex with a gravel trap on the outside. Lose concentration and you'll be in it. It opens on exit however to provide a good run down to Turn 4. I do not advise overtaking anything in this corner because of how tight entry is.

Turn 4
This corner tightens alot on entry. Braking early makes you feel you broke way too early and you get on the gas. Then you suddenly realise you're going off into the gravel trap. It is possible to overtake here. But I'd wait till Turn 7

Turn 5 and Turn 6
Just one corner. Easy flat. Two wide maybe not so easy, but just get right behind and do him under braking for Turn 7

Turn 7
Downshift and cut this corner. Dont cut enough and your entry to Turn 8 will be horrid. Be patient on the throttle as otherwise you will be too close to apex of Turn 8 to get a good exit. Can overtake here.

Turn 8
Cut this apex aswell. You will probably not run wide. But a good exit is important if you are to keep position heading into Turn 9. It is possible to overtake here. But improbably you will be in a position to do so.

Turn 9
If you have understeer you will run wide. If you have oversteer you will run wide. You need perfect car balance to take this corner at optimum speed. Is a good corner to overtake on if you are both careful.

Turn 10
Hit a late apex here for best speed down the straight. Understeer will cost you a couple of tenths easy. It's possible to overtake. But why bother when the longest straight of circuit is next?

Back straight
Where most of the overtaking should happen. That and under braking for Turn 11

Turn 11
Brake early as its a downhill braking. Brake too late and you miss the apex, meaning entry speed for the final 3 corners is too low. Brake way too late and you're in the gravel. Any overtakes here should be with care, as the outside car if hit will be in the sand.

Turn 12
Forget about that apex. You hit that and you're too tight for Turn 13 and 14. just get as wide as possible here. Don't brake.

Turn 13
Cut apex to get straightest line to Turn 14. Make sure to slow down though.

Turn 14
Too fast/understeer and you're off. Oversteer and that's a couple of tenths gone again. Cut the apex here though as otherwise you exit too slow

Pit Entry
Don't let the straight fast entry fool you. If you dont slow down you hitting the wall. And the AI driving loses a good 10 seconds right there. It's like Fuji. Only the wall is tighter and AI controlled this time.

Pit Exit
It's okay to sweep across track for entry to Turn 1 if there's no other cars coming. To defend position though is naughty and shouldn't be done. You have cold tyres so won't keep it anyway.

Summary
If you drive like an ass. Giving no driver room you will cause collisions. If you brake too late and hit the door of the other car, he's off in the gravel frequently. So just be smart. And don't lose concentration.
It's tight, but not as tight as other tracks on the calendar. Overtaking here will be Moderate.
Risk of collision Moderate.

hey shagg do you mind if I use some of your rules and regs and a some point things for a new league im starting

So reading how the drag has affected the GT500 GTRs. The old difference between max downforce and minimum downforce was 3mph. It is now 9mph.
The max speed on max downforce is 2mph lower. The max speed on minimum downforce is now 4mph higher.

Not very drastic of a change

The draft is a good 15mph boost.

It helps if you chasing someone down and you have 9mph more speed. But other than that it shouldnt change much.

Going on now to test the ride heightt

SkengD
Can you test the tire wear and let me know if that has changed ?

Just did a full speed outlap of Spa. We all know that destroys the tyres.
Now you lose the smallest bar ever.
I think we may see some 0 stoppers.

The car feels slightly loose on the rear, and the front understeers a tad. That's all tuning wise

Edit. Just did a 360 lost nothing tyre wise
