Not happy with the start, got a hard shove from behind before the leaders even set off then got caught in a bottleneck at a turn 1 incident.
Then I got a fairly large serve up into turn 1 that sent me into a half spin sending me to the back of the field.
From there I was caught in the pack and lost time, including this NSX that was spinning in front of me. He was crossed up at the turn before the hairpins and I was so close I had nowhere to go but into him.
Hey shagg, when you were in pre season car testing, which type of track does the garaiya suit?
After the race finished I decided to run a few laps in the RX7, in my first flying lap I knocked my Q time by 2 tenths. I didnt even bother setting up the LSD and suspension....Im gonna try that later on today and see the result. Just wondering whether the garaiya is a handling beast compared to others or what....cheers...

XxShaggxXLooking at the results from testing the ARTA is extremely fast at tracks with more turns and less straights (Laguna, Monoco, Nurburg, probably Twin Ring). The RX7 did really well on tracks with bigger straights (Fuji, indy road, probably daytona road). Whats interesting from the results is either one car is really good at a track or the really bad at another. Them two were like opposites cause the ARTA has great handling while the rx7 has the top end. The rest of the cars are consistent over every single track.
Glad to hear that...Its amazing how the arta keeps up when you consider it weighs 75kg more, 45, 55 weight distribution and no upgrades...One of the many mysteries of GT5 i guess....![]()
Thanks, I'll be there. That's probably for the best anyway, give me a little time to practice.
that 3rd guy in calsonic, obviously not staggered start, and arta nsx was too far up. and looked like zues was a lil too far ahead in his formation too. them 3 guys need to review how to staggered start, looked like it was fun, wish i could of been there.

XxShaggxXThat is definitely not staggared start. We will look into it. Then the accident looked like Zach lagged into you. Just a bit of a mess there
ZachAK47Yeah for some reason the lag got worse after i rejoined. I assure you I didn't intend to collide and on my replay Phil is already spinning when we hit :/. I braked at 130m so it's not as though I was too late on brakes
If the opening post is up to date, we have at least 24 people signed up so far?
However I have a bit of a problem with the way GT500 drivers come up to lap us GT300's...Do we (300s) not have the racing line? And 500's have to safely go around us right? I understand if a GT500 is side by side with a 300 before braking but when they come bulldozing through when us 300's have turned half way through to the corner results in losing quiet a bit of time...This happened to me and as a result I lost the draft to the 3rd placed driver....I think the lapping rule needs to be highlighted more often...
ZachAK47Anyone here with a wired setup that can help me get mine to not lag so much?
XxShaggxXIs there other stuff connected to it? Also make sure to delete your cache before the races
ZachAK47The only thing connected at 1am is my ps3 :S. I think I've cleared my cache once in the 2+ years ive owned the game. I'll do that next time see if it helps
kk20Lmao...Also, how long is your ethernet cable?
Resistance=Rho*Length/Cross sectional surface area.
Also does the wiring pass any hot areas? Temperature will also increase resistance.
If none of this is applicable then maybe try a different high quality wire?
