Qualifying is now open for this week's race. This will be the post that will be used for the qualifying results. It is going to be this Saturday at 7ET. It will be at Nurburgring GP/F and will be an hour long race (30 Laps)

This post here will detail the results, procedures and etc on how we do qualifying (See OP for more details). Qualifying is over and final 12 hours before the scheduled start of the race.

The chart below details the current qualifying standings. This will be updated as the week goes forth and when a new page is made I will quote this post

To qualify you can either PM a steward here on GTPlanet, post a post on here with a public room number for a steward to join, or if you are friends on PSN with a steward you can PM them on there. Below is the list of Stewards that can qualify you (as of now)

Note that Stewards must qualify with other Stewards
 
Well i qualified all ready even though i did want to wait till everyone else in 500's qualified. I just couldnt wait to get it over with so i could work on race setup. But i ran a pretty good lap only a few tenths off my best lap. Ill take the 55.2 should be good enough to start near the front.

So modest. :sly: The only one who's got a shot at beating that time is Immortal, so I think you're good to go Mike. 👍
 
Well i bombed my qualifying and of course right after i run a 57.7 for qual im running almost near kings times with a different setup -_- fml
 
I had a pair of 2:02.5s just before my qualify run but a 2:02.7 is pretty good.

Good lap in qualifying Pepsi. I hope i can run my pb of 55.033 in qualifying. Either way run that pace in race and my tires will be gone in 6 laps lmao.

Thanks man, you too. Your lap must have been damn near perfect to get that time, even at my best I still make mistakes and misjudgements here and there.

Last time I could never see those errors but now, strangely, I can.

For one just to see the pace you might have been at and a stepping stone to see where your at. Plus by chance if you cant make the race and you happen to get the pole you get a bonus point for the pole. And for full time committed drivers even if they cant make a race they still will get last place points. :)

I wouldnt say that, you probably got a shot at it so does canze maybe and of course immortal, and veloci if he decides to race. I know for a fact there is a 54.7 out there for me maybe a little more.

Edit: For anyone who needs to qualify still i am home and able to qualify anyone that needs to today. If you do just leave a message on here and i will get to you within a half hour.

I don't think I'll be much of a threat here, what with my unabashed hatred for this track and all. :lol: Next week at Suzuka though, I'm looking forward to that. :)

Edit: Then again, I forgot you and Immortal have quite a lot of extra weight this week in the race. Man, that's gonna suck for tire wear.

I sure do love suzuka. Everything just flows and has a smooth rhythm. Suzuka is like a symphony orchestra wheras nurb is a hardcore heavy metal rock band...
