Hey guys sorry for my absence.

I've been pretty busy past couple of weeks and it has been hard to really practice.

Also, I've come to the conclusion that, in Europe at least, the race starts are just a little too late for me to do every weekend.

So, yeah, I'm sorry about not explaining the situation but I'm gonna have to stop racing in this series. I didn't mean to mess you guys around or anything, I've just genuinely not had much time to say anything about it.

I only did one race w/you guys but it was fun and I can tell this is a very well run series, so I hope everyone has a great series and good luck to all, in every aspect. I would like to race with you guys again some time, but it won't be for a long while, sadly 👍

Qualifying is now open for this week's race. This will be the post that will be used for the qualifying results. It is going to be this Saturday at 7ET. It will be at Daytona Infield and will be an hour and a half long endurance race (50 Laps)

This post here will detail the results, procedures and etc on how we do qualifying (See OP for more details). Qualifying is over and final 12 hours before the scheduled start of the race.

The chart below details the current qualifying standings. This will be updated as the week goes forth and when a new page is made I will quote this post

To qualify you can either PM a steward here on GTPlanet, post a post on here with a public room number for a steward to join, or if you are friends on PSN with a steward you can PM them on there. Below is the list of Stewards that can qualify you (as of now)

EDIT: On a not so happy note, Ron Meier has reviewed the race at Monza and has ruled on some incidents that occurred on the race track. The following incidents have been deemed 'avoidable' and have therefore drawn the following penalties.

Early in the race while racing side by side, drivers Mike Best and Pablo Czyrt made contact that resulted in Mike Best wrecking. After looking at his replay, Ron has determined that Pablo took the corner wide and resulted in pushing Best off course. By not waiting for him as the rules say, He will be docked 1 championship point. Both drivers are also on watch to be sure no paybacks occur.

On lap 8, Nadiur R bumped into Len Parker and resulted in Parker spinning. By not waiting for the spinning driver he also will receive 1 championship point deduction.

On lap 18, Phil N was attempting to lap the 300 driver of Parker and he knocked him off track. This also will result in a 1 championship point deduction. From this point forward though, contact between 500 and 300 class drivers will be scrutinized harsher and could result in harsher penalties. Please be careful guys

On lap 28, Jonathan Bolling got into Nadiur R resulting in Nadiur spinning. Failing to wait for him will result in a 1 point penalty.


It's early in the season so Ron was lenient on the penalties. Just try your hardest to be careful guys 👍 :)

Still a few that need to qualify as soon as you get a chance just let me know and I will hop on and open a room.
 
Just a reminder to any of you holding off to qualify. Between like 8pm ET and 11pm ET, stewards will be busy preparing and running in our TCCS race. So those that need to qualify need to keep that in mind if you try to get a hold of us :). I know the only steward that wont be racing that series race will be Nadiur (killa) but that may be too late for him to qualify people given he's in the UK. So for the next 4.5 hours it may be best get your qualifying done during then 👍

Im on in 3 hours. I'll stay on for around 3.5 hours so let me know here when you wanna qualify....
 
Gonna have a smaller 300 field this week. Got wind that we will be missing Len Parker (boshuter) this week and we know that Andy (ABud) and Joe (JoeTruck) won't be here this week. Also Joey Alves not sure if he can race this weekend or not as he is getting ready for Silverstone finals this week. So sorry if room b lacks this week in the 300 series.

James Allen looks like the last driver to go for GT300 class.

Given that it looks that everyone from myself in first to Joshua L is locked in for room a. If there is no Joey this week that locks in Tyson no matter the result of James Allen in qualifying. If there is Joey this week then it will come down to Tyson or James for the last spot in room a.

Of course this can all change if someone doesnt show up in room a on race day

Um. Bad news im afraid. I wont be racing this saturday since the race finishes at around 2:15am and I have to be awake at 6am. Sorry mate. I guess every 300 driver in Room A

Ahh sorry to hear that mate. Was looking forward to racing with you. Given that we will probably only have 1 or 2 room b 300 drivers then. Not to worried though I know the numbers will be back up next weekend. Just hit a bad weekend.

We will still have a full 50 lap room b being run though as we will still have 4-5 500 guys in room b.
 
I'm 90% sure I'm not making it this weekend and 100% sure I'll be unable to make it the next 2 weeks due to silverstone. So looks like I'll have this 40kg ballast for a while :P

I was just gonna say, how are the rooms being split? i dont see a line. is it gonna be half of the 500s and half of the 300s in room a and the other half in room b?

It's always top 8 in each class make room a. Rest room b
