Based on recent posts, can we keep this as comparison thread please? Don't want this turned into "those" thread...

About car addition/DLC's in GTS, I admit there are lots and lots of returning cars from previous title (standard cars included) but don't forget there are also bunch of cars that is first introduced in GTS or GT series history as a whole. Would be different scenario if we only get the returning assets from previous titles without offering something fresh. Thankfully, in GTS we have them both, one is the returning cars from previous title with refined textures and details the other is newly modelled cars made from scratch for the current title. That is fair enough in my opinion.

for the old models they have everything ready (laserscan captures, car photos from every angle, audio captures) they just have to improve the 3D model, re-texturize it and rework the audio. For a new model they have to start from the scratch.

They are probably working on many new models but keep them aside for GT7
So true. Expect the odd new vehicle with every update but until GT7 arrives we’re looking at essentially GT6’s greatest hits.

The returning models said to be reworks but I believe they are simply edited... Since the modelling software has many tools to modify chamfers and fillets, subdivision and all that stuff. Some parts like the interiors might be remodelled or just edited.

I just know they do this since I model cars for a hobby with the software. They wouldn't waste time remaking every car.

Looks like PD forgot to add metallic\ pearl texture to the paints on this car.
All of the colors are just glossy. :\

EDIT: Or maybe not... the orange just doesn't look right... -__-
What color did you use for the photoshoot?

The metallic effect on this orange color is very subtle IRL.

I've changed the color of the Z33 because I don't like the original one. Then I will post some photos with the original color

My 4K HDR Samsung is generally way off with orange and yellows, but the 350Z looked especially underwhelming.

Emula used a custom paint chip for the photoshoot. The factory paint doesn't look like this, see?

And if comparing to the real life car, the ingame color looks really bland.

This is 2 different Nissan colors. The first one is Passionate Orange (probably Solar Orange) and the 2nd one is Burnt Orange.

Premium Passionate Orange in GT6 is not as bright as in GTS.

Imho this color needs to be fixed, so I've painted my car with 02 Candy met.

Hmmm... I guess it's this color...

So I guess it wasn't a mistake then? I'm confused now... >_<
