Guys, please, stop it!

I busted my ass of to balance all season 1 cars and not one person thanked me, instead all you do is criticise my balancing of this seasons cars.

Listen, ok, just because you are a slower driver doesn't mean the car should be improved just for you, all the cars are equal in my hands. FR cars are dominant in the corners, always have been, probably always will be. The only way an FF car can make that time up is on the straight. If I gave the FR cars more power, then the cars would be way too quick. You can't have everything, corner or straight line speed, you decide.

Yes I know some cars, like the citroen are way too quick on the straight, so I've cut its power, I've done what I can to balance the cars. They hit similar lap times in my hands and not much more I can do.

I'm at the point where I wanted a small break yet people still keep complining about the cars. If you can't hit the same lap times with one car, tough s**t, I can, so it must be you. The FR cars are way to quick in the corners, so giving them lots of bhp wouldn't slow them down, the FF cars have been altered so, well, what else can I say.

At the moment I really don't care, I've done all I can, and I cant do anything else until we get a bunch of people together to do some mock races.

I'm sorry but I you don't like it, you know where the door is.

I know you were joking mate, wasn't aimed at you 👍 but when that's all people have complained to me about, look at the specs, they're all quite similar tbh
and please don't tell me to calm down, I've sat there and listened to people complain,ad ven allowed terrible drivers to remain in this series. So yeah I am stressed.

A note to everyone, No more talk about specs until next week, after you show up for the test sessions, then you can raise the issues, but FR cars, as in most series are always slower on the straight. It's only 10-20bhp less than the FF cars, when it should be much less

Woah!

I've been driving the Toyota, and it's quick but not too quick on the straights but it just lays anything like fish in the corners, none of cars have an advantage over others and they're all equally specced.

You probably haven't seen me say it during season 1 but I have, @DirtyNurbKing58, but you spec the cars very well and very accordingly to their accolades and traits. I do appreciate how much effort you have put into this... I mean, the amount of sign ups kind of prove it.

I am proud to say that I will continue in this championship for however long it stays alive!

From the looks of testing last night, I'd say that the cars are even.

There was probably a tenth in it between the C4 and Scion at Willow Springs, and less than a tenth between the C4 and the Scirocco at A1 Ring. I believe there was less than a hundredth, actually! Hell, I even managed to take a heavily sandbagged Ford Focus to within a second of those cars, but I was pushing like mad!

The only thing that will separate the cars really is the types of tracks we use in the season, but that's it.

that's the main thing, different cars for different tracks

the ford and Honda confuse me, everyone struggles with them but I can do fine with them, strange

i was running high hp at willow

and storm wasn't, he ran the correct specs, and he got within a tenth of an FF track. so everyone have found the cars balanced.

Mate, it takes a lot of hours and work, not just random numbers. to test one car takes up your entire night. They are pretty evenly balanced

there are still other cars there remember, its whatever suits your driving style

I know, I was only taking @NinjaEvo and my own's lap times into consideration.
but if you can do it, like I can, theres nothing wrong with the cars, correct?

I second that, it takes a good solid few weeks to test all cars properly. If you have multiple people testing, it gives the results more accuracy. Times may vary based on skill level of each test driver, but you only have to look at the pattern between the cars, which should be the same with each driver, minus small preferences.

Nothing wrong from what I have seen. Only thing that baffles me is why the Ford needs so much power compared to the VW. Not saying the specs are wrong, but don't you just feel that, just by looking at them in detail, that they should in theory be similar in performance? Yet they need totally different specs... weird...

Wait, I'm not that cool, I just have an excellent front...

Does that mean I can?

Check your Fizzle Bizzle, sent you another... :D

I would post it here but don't know if I'm allowed?
cheers mate will check in the minute :)

pffft that VW is crazy mate, it handles like complete s**t but tbh if you get it right, is really quick

Here's one for ya...

Given the increase in the weights of the FR cars are the 86 and FR-S no longer getting the 10kg stagger against the BRZ?

EDIT: I know enough people have done your head in on the specs, thought I'd add to your misery :D

I swear to god, if I find out where you live

After those complaining ;) that it was over weight, I thought what the heck, I'll just put it to the same due to installation parts. If it proves not to work I'll change it back

Bring it on...

Seems cool, the problem is the fact that, as you've said before, we need mock races...

Oh, and I want in Race Of Champions... :D

:( Abuse there I think

Yep, @Mamaghi set one up lol and didn't see the other, I said by all means he can do it but leave room for the GTOR drivers ;)

I'm sorry mate... 👍

Yeah, since if we were doing continental series like Season 2 I would TECHNICALLY have been North American champ by 2 points I think I've got my spot...
