I keep connecting, I can sign into PSN no problem yet when I try o use the GT6 servers it says i'm not online. What the hell is going on?!

Try, if you haven't already, this:

1) Clear cache.
2) Quit game.
3) Remove disc.
4) Turn off system.
5) Turn on system.
6) Clean disc.
7) Insert disc.
8) Sign out (if you sign in automatically).
9) Sign in (if you sign in automatically).
10) Start game.
11) Clear cache again.
12) Try again.

Go to game data (NOT SAVE DATA), and delete the Gran Turismo 6 file. You will have to re-install EVERY update again though...

You can't, you have to reupdate.

Either activate the safe mode menu and do it from there, or get a USB flash stick, go here http://uk.playstation.com/ps3/support/system-software/detail/item679451/Update-features-(ver-4-55)/ get version 4.66 and update from storage media.

I'm not sure but I think you can only delete all the updates at once... That mean 4 or 5Gb at least to re-download...

If you delete the updates it does delete everything, which means you're talking 3-4 hours to get everything back

It is roughly 8-9 GB which is huge for a game.

Re-installing those will take days. Haha.

Try to reboot the modem and than the router. If possible connect directly to modem. When i am hosting always connected to modem - NAT 1. If no good call the operator to refresh your internet connection. In my case Sony makes lots of data loss and strange packets when playing online (GT6 only)

I think it's because he didn't open the Community menu. He still has to confirm his public profile etc... I have several GT6 friends in the same case.

Edit : @DirtyNurbKing58 Your profile page now displays "WEB" with a green dot (online)...

I was playing through the menus just pressing random buttons and I got to the open agreement, I thought what the hell then it told me to restart and do an update, took 30 seconds and it's worked. I have no idea what on earth it's about but i'll have a proper look later. Will open the room now and we'll go. Shall we move the prius support race to after GTTCC? easier that way
