Correct, it's the 2013 SRT Viper GTS.
The Dodge Viper in the recent years got a bit more tame when it became the SRT Viper since Chrysler had to give it stability control due to some recent regulations passed by the US government. The Viper really isn't as crazy to drive like it originally was.

He said "P.O.", which just means he'll pass on the riddle to someone else.
Anyway, I'm taking it.
"I'm similar to a car that was hidden in 1999, mainly because that same car was meant to be based off of me. I've myself been hanging around here since 2001."
Sorry, just asking the wording at the minute, where it says "was hidden in 1999", does that mean it was a production car that went out of production, or, some sort of concept car? At the moment it seems more like the latter.
Also "hanging around here since 2001." I read that as, "I've been in production since 2001", am I reading that correctly? Is the wording of the riddle, part of the riddle?
Yup that's it.Pfft. CLK Touring Car. Easy peasy
Hidden car in GT2 (released in '99), has been in GT since GT3 ('01)
