Not exactly, a lightbulb just lit up and reminded me of Hino's old coupes. I wrote the Contessa 1300 Coupe out immediately, and checked which car preceded it... I came to that conclusion rather rapidly, but it was true.

Yes, it's an Alpine A108 built under license by Willys-Overland, you're not far off. It is interesting that you didn't know about it, it's a pretty clean design, very elegant proportions.

Either way, if it isn't Brazilian... Could it be Italian? The ATS 2500 GT?

I was actually waiting for someone to suggest that, as that is what the front of the car reminds me of most. Absolutely love the ATS (didn't the guy who designed it use to work for Ferrari?).
