Nopey.

Let me give you a hint:

"Maybe I do have a little bit in common with Italy. At least they have proper race tracks there too. In fact, the name of this one has quite a bit to do with my Italian connection"

Edit: I'm off for E.T., in case someone makes a guess while I sleep :)

Remember, it's not Italian.

I can tell you that none of you are correct.

"Said 'proper racetrack in Italy' isn't actually a racetrack, but more like Test Course's real life cousin. Now there can't be much doubt about where I come from."

VW W12 Nardo Concept
Bugatti Veyron 16.4 '09
Bentley Speed 8
Shelby Daytona Coupe

One of those have something to do with the riddle, but it's not the answer.

"Take the engine configuration of the car that shares its name with Test Course's real life Italian cousin, and find out which other cars use one such engine. Then I should be easy to find."

Hommell Berlinette R/S' 99 :sly:
Audi R8 4.2 S-tronic' 09 (Related to the Lamborghini Gallardo)
Audi Le Mans Quattro Concept' 03

Still a no, but I can tell you:

"I have a little to do with the engine of the car that shares its name with Test Course's Italian cousin, but the engine is only part of the connection."

Nopey-no. Let me help you out:

Test Course > Italian cousin > Name of that track > Car > That car's engine type > Something > The car I'm looking for.

There's only one missing link here, you can do it!

In any case, it's not the Spyker. Let me remind you of something:

The "proer racetrack" (which isn't actually a racetrack) is Test Course's Italian cousin. What did Test Course look like?

In relation to the car, it's closer, but only marginally. In relation to the connection, however..
