I think since they added newer Ford GTs to this game, they figured nobody would miss the earlier GT40s.

I'm driving a front-drive Renault Clio 16v with a wing attached. I was battling the Clio Cup, in which you gottta race full-scale Clio V6 racers.

So far as the picture goes, I just think it's funny how there's a house sitting atop what looks like a small office building! It doesn't look right! I wonder if this is the correct architecture.

The GT40 Road car was a killer to race against in GT2! It had 305hp, and would kill just about any car in the <345hp class. When it started in first, forget it, try and find a new lineup. I hope they bring it back for GT5

No, it only appears in GT2 and 3. GT4 has newer Ford GTs, and like I said, I think PD figured nobody would miss the older GT40 road cars.
