Niether have I, until I did the drift pmc comp. Its close to the line. I only would have guessed it because the trees and the wierd u on the building. I forget what its called.

The TÜV organization is German, and the building is also known by any Nordschleife and photomode fan . It's in the Sudschleife area, visible in the first turns after the GT4 start-finish line.

What is it? And why such a tall building in the middle of nowhere? I also wonder if you can see far portions of the track from the top of the building in real life?

I'm not sure what can you see there, I've never been inside it and I didn't find real photos to check it . From the Nürburg's castle you can see quite a lot...
