You don't remember the Oasis? I'm sure you didn't have it in Canada, but it was a rebadged and slightly upmarket Odyssey. Isuzu could not sell them, so in 1998, they just told Honda that they didn't want it anymore. Of course, three years later, the Odyssey was re-designed and is now one of America's most popular vans. Poor Isuzu.

I'm surprised you guys got those 'rare' cars so quickly.

actually i didn't know about the Isuzu/Honda deal for the Odyssey. mainly because it wasn't sold here, and mainly because i haven't seen an Isuzu in over 5 year...

I was frantically searching Google trying to remember. I typed in numbers like 'alfa 154' and 'alfa 135' before finding it - 'alfa 164s.'

Oh, and BTW, Canada doesnt get the Old gen Honda Odyssey or Isuzu Oasis. We also didnt get the Honda Passport, but we did get the Isuzu Rodeo.

Well, they were (and still are) crap anyway. The Axiom came out about two years ago, and since, I've seen less than ten. The Ascender came out about two months ago, and I've only seen one. Talk about rare newish cars - Isuzus are it.

we had the 95-99 Odyssey, i worked on one today... we didn't get the Acura SLX either, which was a Trooper in disguise.

For some reason, the Odyssey with four standard doors and the Oasis were vehicles I truly liked. I've been searching for about a year attempting to find good examples of most of the cars in my 'guess the cars' picture, but it's extremely hard - none of the cars shown reached production levels of over 5500 in any given year, let alone in packages and colours I like. Complicated by the fact that I live in the American car capital of the world.

I was looking for pictures of vehicles like the Grand Cherokee TSi and Toyota Paseo Convertible (the only Toyota where some assembly was required) yet they were too rare for even Google.
