As long as the car has a p/w ratio of no lower than 4.55kg/hp, engine no larger than 2000cc, and is no higher than 420pp before AND after tuning, your car can essentially be set to whatever. But tests (I can assume) are being run still.

EDIT: Event isn't official yet.

RE-EDIT: Can we get a petition-thread going in the GT club forum so we know exactly who's in on this? (I'd say do it here, but not everyone has a GTP account.)

Also, is there any way I could practice on the track you made (if you made it lol)?
Because I've been testing on Deep Forest and my car still suffers from some oversteer, but it can be handled on that track - this means I have no idea on how it will perform on something like Eifel since it has long and sharp turns and varying track height.

I did not make it. If you add me on PSN, you can save and test drive the track yourself.

That track is pretty damn scary and I love it. :D

Also, just a FYI: I don't think it's possible to maintain the 200hp/910kg ratio under 420PP - that also makes me wonder if it's possible to maintain the 4.55kg/hp ratio as well...

Both my NB Miata and my MR2 were sitting at 425PP and 430PP respectively @ 200hp/910kg.

Hello. Who are the lead organizers of the Hajime Racers regarding Touge and Wangan? I have a proposition to forward via PM. On an added note, are you guys affiliated with any other groups regarding those disciplines?

@KazaMR2 is the Wangan guy.
@TheNeos is the touge guy.
@G_Parrilla is the third boss but I don't know what he does (drift maybe).

We aren't affiliated with anyone, but a few of the LOTS members race with us on a regular basis.

Yep, as Obelisk said, I'm the main Wangan host and make all the specs for highway racing. Feel free to PM me, G & Neos when you are ready. :cheers:

We aren't really associated with any other teams, but we are involved with the AE86 TRD N2 racing series group, which @Slender_Man kindly let us use his specs for our events including it.

I have a low volume touge club...

The 910kg/200hp benchmark is what established the 4.55kg/hp p/w ratio, and on an AE86 that equates to 420PP exactly. And with the little bit of testing I did with Kaza the other day, it seems like a solid cap, as we got an S13, FC, FTO, NA Roadster, and Galant to do 3:03.000s-3:04.000s.

Most of that lineup is inactive. I actually added a bunch of new features to it and eventually I'll get a GTP thread up...probably tomorrow or the day after. And besides...have YOU sent any? lol

Ah, okay. By the way, the 4.55kg/hp ratio is not mandatory, right? We can enter cars with worse kg/hp ratios?
Assuming we can, I conducted further testing with my NB (966kg/200hp @ 420PP) and I managed to squeeze a 3:01:133 so I guess I'll be using that setup.

As I said, 4.55 is the limit. As long as the ratio is that or higher, you're good. That's not to say Kaza, Neos, and G approved the event yet.

@ShinkaseiZero I have two questions for you.

1. While this event idea is good and a fresh start for the club, how do we know you won't breach regulations? You've had a history of that here.

2. Is this a ploy to try to make your Touge hub more popular? It seems like it came out of nowhere, and this only came up after you made a comment about your hub after Winters Noble asked about club associations.

1. Are you serious? :grumpy: Not only can you not get away with breaching them, why are you STILL on that topic after months?

2. That club has been coming and going since October 2014 and I haven't really been trying to push it publicly because at the time touge was still pretty alive. Now that it's practically dead, I'm working extensively on it. But no. If I wanted to do that, I'd have waited until I put it to show on GTP and THEN announced this type of tournament there instead. Besides, what's wrong with being in multiple clubs?

EDIT: Wrong date in #2. AUGUST 2014, not October.

There has been several occasions recently where a few members have breached regulations at Wangan for no good reason. If I'm not mistaken, I've seen you doing that once or twice.

I never said there was anything wrong with multiple clubs-it's just the timing seemed kinda suspicious to me.

Well see here, that "incident" from before was around the time special specs just got introduced, so of course I've been "breaching regulations" due to lack of knowing they were around. Besides, it's rather inconvenient to tune up a nice car for the setup to suddenly be invalid. But now that the specs are wide and plenty (and most to my liking), that should no longer be an issue.

And my club isn't a league or club seeking competition with other clubs. The only difference with it versus HR or LotS is that it's designed intentionally to be a lot more freelance and up to the "street racers" to determine what's fair or not. It's also something to do to bring in the new year on GT6.

Woah Ob calm down. Yes, the event it's not at spec but it's fine for an event to be like that. Also the history you're referring to was a single episode. Also he didn't even mention his club since months back. So I have to ask you to be less inquisitive and harsh, thank you :cheers:

You know just as well as everyone else here that I'm very blunt in what I say.
That does not justify being arrogant when asking questions, since in a community you have to adapt and be respectful regardless of how you usually behave
