I'll be preparing for a week long trip down south that day, so I won't be making it.

Darn. What about next Sunday? It'd be a shame for you to miss your own event.

Edit: Lobby back up after a change of track to Gunsai (Kakashi's ver)

Edit 2: Lobby down.

I thought some of you guys might enjoy reading through this thread. It's the real life racing adventures of one of GTP's own. Michimi-San gives lots of insight, and links some great videos. Also if you like racing, the Lambo Super Trofeo is usually a pretty good watch :)

My favorite is race 1 at Spa where he manages to go from 6th to 2nd in the final 6 minutes!

Tsuchiya-spec HOT VERSION Touge

A bracket-style tournament/event day pitting contestants against each other in tightly regulated touge cars to go head-to-head on the Gunsai touge. The regulations are based off of the specifications of Keiichi Tsuchiya's AE86. Races will consist of "Best of 3" matches with a 3 second gap rule, cat and mouse style.

The "run" starts from a rolling start from half way between the starting line and ends where the pit wall begins (Racers will be about 1-1.5 car lenghts apart), then the lap begins as racers floor it at the start line, then the finish is the begining of the pit wall, where another participant will keep a keen eye for close finishes. Another racer, likely a HR admin will be in "Watch Race" mode to judge the full lap.

The amount of races will be kept track throught the day by whoever is hosting the lobby, either me, G, or Neos, or Shin as he made the event.

We will also be creating character sheets alike to Hot Version, for example...

That's just a basic layout of what it'll look like. On the day of the event or before when avalible, take a picture of your car you'll be using for the event at this location. (Trial Mountain, just after the tunnel on the uphill area) After that, send in the pictures to the HR hosts. This is however optional.

The AE86 can reach it perfectly, actually.
But yeah, other cars generally have problems maintaining the 4.55kg/hp ratio inside the 420PP limit.

With that I have to agree.. its a shame that so many good Hondas get ruined and contribute to the image of the Civic and Hondas as the ultimate ricer's car :banghead:

Kind of makes sense when you put it that way.
But Honda made so many incredible cars that it's hard not to like the brand.

The EP3 is my favorite civic of all time, and I remember, one of the very few fwd cars I wanted was a prelude. Anyways I just got fired from my job so. I'll be on tomorrow if anyone wants to touge

That's because the AE86 is what created that regulations benchmark lol. The way GT's performance point system works, it'd be nearly impossible to regulate cars if they all were set to 4.55kg/hp p/w ratio, since newer cars, turbo cars, larger engined cars, etc have more PP, which is why I also implemented the PP limit. Plenty of cars are still very competitive even above 5.00kg/hp, just a matter of finding the bright one...for you.

Yeah, for the most bs reason. They just told me that, we're looking to go in a different direction. That was it.
That's messed up. Was that an on the spot thing or were you warned ahead of time? I'm almost certain for that sort of reasoning, they have to give you warning in advance.

Sorry I guess? Posting off a phone here, not off a computer like I'd prefer.
