Plans.
Ideas.
Costumes.

And so on. It's on a Saturday this year so it's a great chance for a lot of us to wear fancy dress and have a ball. For me there's a party at the pub, prizes for best costumes and so on... a typical Saturday night but with a fun twist.

Or maybe you're still young enough to go trick-or-treating without being considered creepy? Tell us your route.

I'm going to try and be Fry from Futurama. I already have the big stupid red hair, I just need a red jacket, white top and blue jeans.

Here Halloween isn't a big thing at all, it's the "all saints" day - people visit cemeteries, mourn their relatives and so on.

I have my pumpkin avatar and that's the biggest Halloween spirit I've ever had so far.

I'll have my Darth avatar ready again.

For real life? It's time to stock up some more candy for general consumption. I know some convenience stores near where I live that half off their sweet stuffs at the time.

There's also the generic party from my neighbors (which I'm invited to).. it's going to be a doozy sleeping on the night.

It's on Friday the 13th this year, right?

You mean that it isn't normally on Friday the 13th? :P

I'm not quite sure what to do. Considering either Elsa from Frozen or Weiss Schnee from RWBY (my avatar) :)

I'm going to take work off for sure and have a relaxing evening handing out candy and grabbing lots for myself. And of course the necessary candy tax my sister will have to pay:P

I'll be taking my 5 year old son out trick or treating (he wants to be either a Ninja Turtle or a Power Ranger) and then heading to work for the night.

I'll be sporting my creepy full head latex alien-humanoid mask and with a standard cape (so I won't look too relaxed about it), and spending the night at my favorite bar, having a few beers with whoever is in there. :D

If I find the time for it, I'm going to make a Yip-yip outfit. Because I think it'd be hilarious to bug people all night.

Going to a friend's party on the night of. The whole group has some pretty brilliant ideas each year, so it'll be good.

I'm going out to Manchester with 3 of my best friends and we're gonna have a kickass time whether you like it or not.

We're considering matching costumes but the best idea we've had so far is 2 pantomime horses and the logistics of that around nightclubs and after a few drinks blows my tiny chimp brain.

Been done trick or treating for years now. I'm quite the scardy-cat, so I always dread this time of year. :scared:

We used to pass out candy, but unfortunatly, 95% of the people that go trick or treating are middle aged parents going around asking for candy for there two month old son named Laquashia, (I really hate the location of my neighborhood.) or teenagers who don't even dress up anymore, but still go out for candy.

The people in the area just ruin the whole thing for me. Not to mention, people come in in fully filled SUVs with preteens looking for their Halloween goodies; no real problem with them, it's just the neighborhood gets pretty oversaturated very quickly.

Funniest part of the whole thing is my dog, though. He's a dachshund, and we have a spider costume that looks freaking hilarious on him!

I do wanna hit up one of my buddies from school; he has a few movie spec Stormtrooper costumes that I've been begging to go out in for years! There isn't a better year to use them, too!

^^ That's cool.

I was thinking about gettting a Guy Fawkes mask, a balaclava and black leather gloves and complete with one of my suits.

But the masks are overpriced now, the balaclava is nearly impossible to get here (because generic criminal accesory ftw) and haven't bothered in looking for the gloves.

I'm looking for more options now :P

I think I'll follow on last years theme and dress like a woman again. Here in Thailand that isn't too unusual as you can imagine. A dress combined with Joker make up did win me a bottle of whiskey in a competition last year.

So drag it is, I suppose.

Any excuse.:P

My youngest is wearing a ghillie suit.

My oldest is wearing a Deadpool t-shirt with a mask.

I have a few thoughts for myself but am currently undecided.

For me, Halloween is just a day to disappoint Children since you have no Candy.

I think it is a marketing scam (like Valentines Day), though I do understand why people like Halloween though and people do this all in good fun, instead of doing this to show love, which you could do in any other day.

You be you, Halloweeners.

Its not at all like St. Valentine's Day. Hallow's eve is one of them special nights when wierdos can be cool, cosplayers get outdone by regular folks and imagination runs wild. Plus I get to be a complete nut case and people just think "Ah, well, it's Halloween" instead of calling the police like they would any other night.
