Most of us came here near the end of January, 2002. So here we are.

Good move, i must say. :)

Have a good one PunkRock, Klos, Acid X, 359, and everyone else! Let's work on a few more, eh?

Happy Anniversay guys!

Does this mean PunkRock's the longest time mod here?
No, that would be Talentless. He's been here since before the beginning (before the site was even called GTPlanet).

Whoa, its amazing how you came from a site like that to a site like this! Great job man!

Congrats Jordan, and to all who have been a part of the GTP history and community. Where would we be without Gran Turismo?

And how old were you Jordan (if [you/he] (have/has) the time to reply to this), when you started the first site?

Yes, congrats GTF'ers. Can't believe it's been that long already...

Time sure flies when you're having fun. Kenji's nonchalence is in part responsible for the growth this site has had in the past years, but that's another story alltogether.

Big thanks to Jordan for giving the link to this place when the GTF was getting shut down the first time, for having the guts to keep the site alive even when the going got rough. Here's to many, many more years!

So, does this mean I can get rid of my refugee status and become a full citizen of GTPlanet?

Obviously not here,.

But yeah, congrats to Jordan for the site and all my fellow GTPers for helping it grow so much from the original. I've only been here since last September, so its not really my 3rd anniversary, so ...

Holy cows! I looked at my user profile and I have been here since 03! Dang Punk Rock I guess time does fly by fast when you are having fun! :D

I cant remember when I came here, but it was a while ago, I dont visit much because I've been rather busy with school. Ill start posting more frequently again when GT4 is released.

Hey, I remember the mass revolt from the GTF. (Don't listen to my profile, I've been here under various guises since Sept. '01.)

I have a lot of fond memories from that old MSN group. Was it that particular group? I clearly rememeber the first ever "post" (or whatever the MSN Group equivalent is) that I ever made. It was a picture book in the photo gallery of the GT2 section, it was a bunch of photos of the Opel Calibra - my favourite car of that time.

I remember that I first came across GTP in about June or July, and it took me a while to ficgure out how to get to the forum and then hoe to register. I'm kinda kicking myself now that I didn't figure it out sooner, but still, I registered four months after Jordan himself, so it's not all bad.

Long live GTPlanet.net.

Thanks, Giancarlo!

I used to spend my life on the GTF! Never used to post much, just liked lurking most of the time - which is mainly what I do around here, too!

GTP and GTF feel similar, but there's always an eery feeling of difference between the two. Everything's where it should be, all the right people are there, and you know you're in the right place because you're having fun, but you can never beat the original.

GTPlanet is awesome. Long live the GT community.

PS: What is Kenji doing with himself lately, and what happened with the sale of the domain name? Sony didn't buy it?

Was it really that long ago?

Wow, I just missed my three year anniversary.

I think that was the first of many mass exodus from GTF. Which now, is off in a vast new direction. IT in turn gave birth to the GTX.

What a long strange trip it's been.

I remember finding this in about August of 2001, looking around and then leaving. I came back about a year later, armed with GT2 and GT3 questions and began posting. Lemme tell ya, this place has come quite a ways.

Anywho, congrats to you all. 👍

I guess I'll stop in and say hi :D

Wow, long time no see, space!

I suppose the "GTF Exodus I" brought me here on a regular basis.

Thanks, Giancarlo!

That's a REALLY good question. I've made several serious offers for the domain name to its new owner, but for no response.
