You're a little early there. The first PlayStation was revealed on December 3, 1994.

It launched in the USA 29 years ago yesterday (September 9 1995).

Been playing TOCA 2 and TOCA World Touring Cars this week albeit on my PS2. On an old CRT TV especially (I've managed to make mine work, it always used to turn itself off as soon as you pressed the power button!!) it still looks perfectly decent once you get over the initial horror, but the gameplay is still as great as ever. My first real games console, always close to my heart. Happy pre-birthday!
