I would recommend 70's and 80's Japanese cars to anyone. They really are historic, and some are quite fun to drive and are quick, read AE-86, RX-7 '83... I think the volume of skylines and evos can be explained just by visiting the used car lot: Lots of err.... evolutions. These models have progressed and changed and I'm sure not just the Japanese like to see a collection of different skyline models in their garage, from '68/'71 to the Rs 30-34. Having these cars in the game makes it feel as if you're a part of something bigger, with more history. I can understand why people don't like the sheer volume of these vehicles, but take the time to collectioneer them and you may be surprised. As much as I'd rather have more European and American cars 👍 👍 👍 , I don't blame PD for the range of autos.

Understandably there is an overload of Japanese cars.
As GT4 is to an extent a "history of the car" game, I think there is a bit of a lack of British cars in particular. Morgan wasn't even approached, not sure what the story is with MG Rover. The list of UK cars that could have been in is endless, from the 1929 Blower Bentley to the 30's SS Jaguar 100 to the 40's Jaguar XK120 & Morris Minor to the 50's Riley RM & MK2 & 7 Jags to the 60's Austin-Healey 3000 & Triumph TR5 to the 70's Rover SD1 & Triumph Dolomite Sprint to the 80's Aston Martin Vantage and so on. Remember that Britain didn't only Rule the waves at one time, we also made some of the worlds greatest cars. Ofcourse the list isn't complete yet, so let's hope.

Yes the Rover SD1 :D I'd love to see one of those in GT4.

The Vanishing Boy
-Performance Pickups (like the Dodge Dakota 5.9 R/T in the US, Toyota Tacoma X-Runner in the US, and those pickups from Holden & Ford in Austrailia)
I think the pick ups from holden and ford are called utes ;)

yeah they call them utes down under:)

I personally am MUCH more statisfied with this car list compared to GT3's rather disapointing range. Theres some very important cars that are missing from the list such as the Shelby GT500 and Aston Martin DB5.

But I am still not entirely satisfied.

I love the HUGE jappenese range of cars but if you're going to do that, you must do it to the same extent with european and american cars at leaset (if not us Australians)

Theres about 80 Hondas(the japenese BMW) on the list. Theres about 15 BMWs on the list.

Wheres the equality?

Now onto speculating on Gran Turismo 5... :dopey:
