Hardest Challenge in GT7?

After reading about Suzuka here, I had to test it.. :D
So Sector 1 needed 1st try Bronze, 3rd try Silver, 7th try Gold.
I'm quite nice, but no comparison to the Norschleife sector 1.

The whole round Suzuka brought silver in the 1st attempt and gold in the 3rd attempt. I haven't done the other sectors yet because I want to wait for the next update with higher rewards ;D.

The 24 minutes of LeMans mission can be challenging if you use a wacky car and avoid intentional corner-cutting or collision with other cars.

I tried it with the Chaparral 2J (stock transmission), and it is a tricky challenge, as it is a nightmare with fuel, only has 3 gears, and has no headlights. Took me about 3 hours total to finally win the race with it. 😅

If you want Impossible mode, use the Red Bull Junior (with 0 corner corner cutting).

Circuit Experience is harder than any license test to get gold. Le Mans and the Nordschleife are very tough.
The entire Nordschleife was hard enough, but at least on a controller, you can do it if you don't use traction control. Got a 6:37.722 doing it (gold). Other hard ones I've done were Autopolis and Mount Panorama.

I actually find Le Mans harder (if not, the toughest one there is). High Speed Ring and Brands Hatch are also unbearable.

Remember, don't use traction control, and use precise throttle and braking inputs like God Foot. Even setting traction control to 1 will kill your cornering speed.

Sorry but...

How many more times?

Forever the same "stupid" prejudice against TCS.

Your time WITHOUT TCS is slower than I am with TCS, so it's not the TCS but your driving style.

I used a detuned Gr.2 2016 Nissan. Started on Wets, fuel map 6 and ran none stop for a very easy win. (For context - I'd say that on pace, I'm a high DR B, but not a DR A). Oh, I forgot, I might have left the AI on Easy after grinding a few races - so never mind. I'll have another go with AI on hard
Suzuka, WTC800 with AI on hard.
Won in a time of 20:49.747 with 2016 GTR Gr. 2 Car, 6.7 secs ahead of 2nd
No-stop Started on Hards, on fuel map 5, increasing to 4 and then 3 so that I used all of the fuel
I think I was running 16th (26 secs behind?) until the end of lap 6 when most of the field ahead pitted, so I started lap 7 in P4 (something like 7 seconds behind the leader) and I then started to push a bit harder.

The race quoted above was at Fuji, and will try this with AI Hard when I get the chance.

I've finally done it,after 5 hours lol.

But seriously for me this is one of the hardest challenges in gt series to date,i find the mission 34 in gt4 easier than this 1 lap attack.

I'm finding some of the full lap gold times on Circuit Experience a real nightmare. I know a bad workman blames his tools and all that, but I would call it Racecar Experience and not Circuit Experience... 95% on my GT Experience is road cars. I just do not like the sterile, surgical feeling of driving GR4 and GR3. GR2 and GR1 I quite like but roadcars are what I really love about GT and PD would have us drive Circuit Experience in 100% racecars and Fantasy cars.

Cheers, I got so many close calls.

Circuit Experience guide videos can be useful if someone is stuck, some parts you can go off-track a bit without failing, makes sections easier, especially the last few turns in Catalunya.

How are times so perfect? .00 even? No .564 .042.. always flat times?

S-10 was a pain but given I got Gold on that only a few days after release, probably more down to me not being entirely comfortable with the physics.

Suzuka CE Sector 1 was impossible last time I tried, haven't even bothered in a while.
Le Mans CE Full Lap was very hard but doable.
Working my way through Nurb at the moment, but can tell it'll be a challenge.

I've done 1000's of laps of both Le Mans and the Nurb over the years and to find them hard after all this time feels great actually.
Circuit Experience is impressively challenging.

After waiting Over 2 years to be able to buy a PS5 and GT7 I have a different out look on how to play the game. I personally am happy with any 3 of the trophy that will move me forward to be able to compete against real drivers.

Winning the 2nd race (Suzuka) of the WTC 600 Championship. On the hard setting.

Definitely the most difficult challenge in the entire game for me.

Overall, I am not that disappointed with the "difficulty" in GT7. It's way harder than GT6 and GT Sport but not as hardcore hard as GT4 and GT5 were, some of the events in GT4 and GT5 were simply not possible for 99% of the playerbase.

The game still presents a few challenges that even the good players won't gold it on the first try and have to put some decent effort to gold it (S-10, Nurburgring Circuit Experience Full Lap, WTC 600 2nd race), and at the same time those challenges are achievable by a lot of the player base with due practice (not hardcore).

I was an A ranked driver in GT Sport (could've achieved A+ but I tanked my rank on purpose to get those wins and poles faster and was done with sport mode after the 327 races), was able to Gold the Vettel challenges in GT5 and Diamond in the Hamilton DLC, so I am safe to consider myself a player within the top 2-3% in the ranks. Which is likely why outside of the 3 challenges I bolded above, nothing was that difficult, but not "gold in 1 try" easy either. It's well balanced.

Any event compared to the Vettel and Hamilton challenges is easy by comparison.

Hi mate. What’s your PSN? I wanna add you to compare times. I’m only a quarter through the game at the moment though.

Hands down the hardest challenge for me has been the Rolling Stone drift mission. Gr.4 Mustang, Daytona's tightest hairpin, CM tires.

As the radius decreases the car either hooks up or slides off and I can't find the sweet spot even after dozens of attempts and thousands of swear word combinations. 2888 is my best score but 90% of tries end in shame. I hate even thinking about it.

Human Comedy Mission 8 Maggiore was the hardest and most challenging for me. I won't forget it ever but I did it at last and I'm very 😁.

Adapting and appreciating the new Physics.
The first task was accomplished, the second one partly.
License Test Wise, the Cone Mission is not possible to get gold.
Don’t know how others did it, I just can’t do it.
No idea, that Mission is beyond me 😅

Before update 1.13, the only challenge I struggled with was Leman's 1 Lap Attack Circuit Experience, on controller, but I was only 0.2 seconds off gold. After 1.13 I beat it by 2 seconds on my first go.

So maybe The Human Comedy - Lake Maggiore mission is the hardest challenge post 1.13?

For me the most difficult test in GT7 for a while... Doing dayli races and not throwing a tantrum and/or nervous breakdown.

I found that the key to getting Gold on Brands Hatch was to shift up earlier than you usually would, the car seems to have a lot of mid-range torque for exiting corners in a higher gear than you'd think. I managed it with TCS set to 1 before the update.

EDIT: Using a controller. I can't seem to do most of the other tracks though 😂

The cone stuff on Missions, specially the one with the Miata to do in 12 seconds.
Sorry but...

Yap, usually try to not use TCS while playing (ex. in endurance races at Le Mans and Spa, put some TCS on with wet track), but it's so much faster with it in some conditions, specially in tracks like Nordschleif.

EDIT: Also the drift stuff, but just because I was extremely stubborn and insist on doing them with the wheel even after everybody saying it was way easier on the controller. Took me a month and a half to give a try to the controller and agree with everybody :sly:

Definitely think Mixed Class Overtaking 1 (Gr.2 NISMO GT500 at Fuji) should.be ranked higher than it's current placement amongst the Moby Dick challenges.

This mission is harder than Mixed Class Overtaking 2 (Audi at St. Croix) which is supposed to be a 4 Pepper difficulty amongst the 'Gone with the Wind' challenges.

Only been able to complete it historically by edging past the Porsche and NSX at Dunlop Corner. If I can't get the move done before then, I've found that there isn't enough of a mission left to make a move before the end. Getting in ahead of the Porsche and NSX before Dunlop is a challenge in itself.

At the moment for me are certain Circuit Experiences, especially the ones made extremely difficult, compared to other very easy (Tokyo central loop reverse -gr.3- vs Dragon Trail giardini -FF gr.4-) in order to demotivate the player and push for MTX .. (the only logic and REAL raeson for these unbalanced choices)
