Same here! I nearly voted for the third because of the excellent reflections of palm trees, but there wasn't enough in the rest of the image to stop me voting for sejtur!

With a little more cleanup I would have went with rovens, (getting them lines to show up on a black car is tough), but instead I went with Dicks shot, just silky smooth. I think we know who the clear winner is here though. Excellent job as always sej!!

Yeah i know looking at it's a bit rough at the edges of the car there was a small line that appeared round it that i couldnt remove o mater how i tried. I was going to clem up the actual car. Ive just looked at the layered version i still have and i made a layer for cleaning up the lines but then didnt do it. I forgot.

I don't know, your Z shot is pretty stunning. Great wheel choice by the way. It really looks nice. Good solution on the blur. Even though you can see where the blur lines come together, it still looks great. Because that would be a real toughie to blur with the corner.

I'll tell you why your picture wasn't chosen, Diego. It was a nice action pic, but upon viewing it full size it was not sharp. The colours were muddy and the car and the wheels weren't defined. Put simply, there were better images last week. Don't be offended by this, it is meant as constructive criticism. I hope that this hasn't discouraged you from entering any further competitions.

Dude, don't get discouraged. Everyone has felt their shots should have gotten in but didn't. But you have to look at how many entries there were and how many good ones to choose from. Its not an easy job. I remember a few weeks back during the 2.0 drift theme my 400R wasn't chosen and I felt it was one of my best pics. BUT...there were simply better shots. You just have to stick with it and come up with better shots. Your pic wasn't far off from being spectacular but there were a few more things you could have done to clean it up. Don't give up.....YOU CAN DO IT 👍!!!!!!!

Meh, I still think there were very similar shots in the top ten. So that's one thing I'd suggest to future choosers of the top ten: look for originality. And look for new names; it seems it's always the same users who make it to the top tens.

Why is that surprising that the same people get in? You don't see some college kid getting drafted for the NBA and beating Jordan's records in 2 days ... it takes work.

I've participated in most of these competitions many many times. I probably didn't make it in 50 percent of the time... the other 50 percent I did I got little or no votes (right now I have 3 here) ... out of the numerous attempts, I won 1 competition...

I guess what I'm trying to say is: have fun, keep trying and results will follow.

Exactly, I usually get on the polls for the most part,sometimes get alot of votes sometimes get no votes, and I have yet to win a competition. I don't let it discourage me, I let it drive me to do better and win one. You got the skills diego, just keep workin like I said before! That goes for everyone that enters but don't get selected. Keep workin at it and you'll get in!!

I have to say that since I started to come here, I feel that I am improving slowly as there are some really high quality entries to look up to. I know it will take bit of time to get it right but if you watch out for what others may be commenting on ur pic, you could pick up some good tips and advises.
