Have you accepted the only lord Jesus Christ as your savior? And by doing so secured your spot In heaven to be with your creator for all eternity ?

Well Jesus is just his son! So I obey the boss not his son.

I just try to be a good human being, approch my fellow humans with respect and tolerance.

I don't care about the dogmatism of religions. All religions are the same : basic guidelines for being a good human and living in a good community perverted by some people.

Try to be a good human beeing and that should grant you a place with your families if there is a heaven.

I for one belive in a greater being wether it is devine or extra terrestrial. It gives you something to believe in. I already lost some beloved friends and family members, and that simplistic believe let's me cope rather well with my loss.

People keep saying the 'believe in god' thread is the place for religious discussion but it really isn't.

Maybe give this one a decent title and have a religion only thread?

I can only logically conclude that someone who didn't believe in God would be allowed to heaven since they wouldn't believe in God for what were most likely logical reasons, and because they were imperfect and able to be wrong.

Though I can't tell what kind of post that is at the top of the page. Is this a discussion, or is it preaching?

If Heaven and Hell are both ideas created by the Christianity club, wouldn't you have to be a member of the club for the club rules to apply to you?

I'm not a member of the club so I do think I am exempt from the club's rules.

Also why would you want to spend eternity with your creator? I think you'd run out of things to talk about after a few years, then things will be really awkward for a long time.

I find it difficult to believe in 'God', let alone one that rewards blind faith and punishes logical thinking.

To take it farther why would he create us with it in our nature to do wrong, seems kinda like your wife sending you to a strip club and asking demanding that you not look at the girls...

But I'll give this hope, the day people who believe in God can agree on who he is (or she) and what he/she wants, I'll consider it.
