Heavy Weights

I haven't played GT4 lately so I forgot a bit about it but I think Jensen Interceptor MKIII weighed in at around 1534kg, I think.

Plus Rep for that one about the stormer... Not because of the stormer but instead, because you brought back a semi-old thread in place of creating a new "heavy weights" thread. 👍

Good job, keep up the "search first" tactics.

Btw, currently my favorite 1500+ is the Supra. Fav 1600+ definately the SLR even though thats more like 1700+.

I'm very partial to the Jensen (1814kg). Its lack of downforce is disappointing, but its gearing means that it doesn't top out at 120 like most of the other muscle cars do, yet it still accelerates quite quickly.

If we only care about the fun factor onew of the best heavyweights is the good old Brick, the Volvo 245. 1890 kg as stock and comfortably over 1500 even after complete lightening, it surely counts in this series. It may not be the fastest car on the road but still, fully tuned it can take on Audi S4 and some AMG Mercedes' and come out on top. Great handling, good for racing or drifting, the decision is up to you. :)

(Then a small rant: who the hell researched this car for the game, it weighs 1350 kg in real life... and the visual isn't correct either, the GLT has black trim instead of chrome... and one more, it isn't "240 Estate", it should be just 245.)

A slight correction to your otherwise correct rant: After 1979, the third number representing the body style was no longer used.

Not many classics showing up in this thread, so I'm going to nominate the 1970 Plymouth Super Bird in all its 1755 kg glory. Although, more impressive is its 5588 mm body length!

I'm fairly certain its also the longest car in GT4 (excluding Randy Grubb's Blastolene Special aka Leno's Tank Car, which can hardly be considered a "car" - more like a freakish hybrid between a Greyhound bus, Patton tank, and 30's style roadster.)

Absolutely! Superbird all the way. :D The Charger, on the same note, is a pretty worthy threat.

I like to just tool around in a stock Monaro, with some N2's on it. Or throw on the S1's and go at the Nür 4 Hour, trust me. ;) The Pajero Evolution ('85) a pretty hefty ride that has some thrust. Makes a good run against the other Rallye cars on 10 difficulty in a 10 Lap Arcade race. Most of the other stuff was pretty well mentioned.

Cheers,
Jetboy
