Lol..step your game up Gunz...that isn't a Benz, that's a JDM sedan..the sides make me think nissan cima, but the front grill screams toyota..

My fault, I thought that was a benz symbol on the hood.
 
Theres no point doing something to a car if its not going to be benificial. Even less point doing something if its actually going to make things worse. That ridiculous camber is just that, ridiculous. Serves no purpose whatsoever and makes cars that could look decent, look like trash instead. Front camber is understandable, especially for a drift car or track day/race car, but not that much. My bike has a bigger contact patch than that Celica or that green Toyota thing. If you think that looks good, go and get your eyes checked, have them removed, replaced with marbles and beaten with images of cars that actually look good and perform just as well, kind of like that Z33, but not on that extreme...

I know right?? I hate how the rim sticks out like that.. its :censored UGLY.
 
I can appreciate the effort required to get the tire to rub the inside of the fender lip but the lip of the wheel to barely hang outside, but it's not my thing, and anything beyond that is absolutely ridiculous. In a perfect world, the tires on my B5 A4 would be a red pubic hair away from their respective fenders, but that's not a priority for me right now and it's not even at the top of the list of things to do on that car.

As for the topic, my go to drift car is the Amuse S2000 R1 and I actually reduce the default camber from 4.0 front to 2.7 and 4.5 rear to 1.4. Less camber actually seems to allow the tail to hang out a little bit more and the decreased camber on that particular car makes the tire fit that much closer to the fender. 👍

The first two Celicas look amazing. The last one looks and sounds like utter 🤬! The Celica was never a bad car, so why would you do something like THAT to it. It's completely ridiculous.
 
Sorry bout this long post but....
my online name is jbaldess, you can add me if you want. im on from 10pm till about 3am every night if you wanna see my set ups in action. Let me ask a question for those who actually know about cars.
1.if cars didnt need camber why is there adjustment for it?
2. if negative camber only has negative results why does the game even let you adjust it to -10 in the first place.
3. if you ever seen a bwm suspention at full lock you would notice how much the wheels camber when you turn?. when you turn that negative camber actually sets the tire angle strait while the wheel is turning. touring cars run alot of negative camber, and it works for them. You are gonna lose strait line stability with alot of negative camber, but you gain more stability while the car is turning or sideways ie..drifting. if you want to test this theory in the game buy a low hp Front drive car and only do suspension to it set the camber all the way max go to a track like autum ring mini with alot of sharp turns and watch how much better the car turns in and holds grip better while cornering. set it back to 0 and take the same corner and watch how the cars doesnt turn in as sharp, and watch how wobbly it is in a strait line and dont say negative camber doest work in the rear because the 4wd and awd cars will need some not alot but some. one of my gtrs in the game is running -6.5F and -7.5 rear and its my track car I havent lost a race yet with it and its pretty dam quick 2
 
if anybody know how to post replays online let me know I got about 30 replays of me winning races, and drift races and drag races with maxed camber to to show you if you know how to tune your suspention that exessive camber will actually help in drifting. And to whoever wants to know how to set your suspention up to be its best at with maxed or exsessive camber. Inbox or add me and send me a message with camber in it so i know you was from here. I get alot of request

^^^^ not sure why you posted this i know the difference???? its also funny how yall flame that celica, but if you would have saw the interview that went with the story to that car that guy did do that to just to basically say f yall im doing what I want plus he drifts that car yes he really drifts a FF setup he has a rwd car to. so dont say camber has no place or doesnt have its benifits cause you obviously dont know what you talking about. and as far as looks go looks are purely based on opinion. so what it aint your cup of tea someone else will like it.

@Hondajunkie: Save the lecture about how to use camber according to you. I know how to use camber effectively. Just because the option is in the game doesn't mean you have to use it & just because it's up to -10 doesn't mean you have to use -10. I know people that drift with 0 camber & they can beat anyone in battle. The performance of a car doesn't depend on camber only. Camber has benefits but it's not 100% necessary.

And please don't reply if your going to say I'm wrong, blah blah, & that I don't know anything. I see you've done it before. It's the most overused reply in GTP & it's very pathetic.

i never even said anything about what was or wasnt hella flush I said (and if you actually read) that maxed camber works for me whien drifting in the game if it doesnt work for you then fine stfu allready. i even offered to help with any setup question on how to drift with alot of camber. Really i did not say one thing about heelaflush or the differences you dont know what you talking about and you cant read. Learn to speak and type english before you type dont make me go off on you it wont be pretty trust just play the backfield cause really it would be to easy to go in on you ima give you a free pass cause I know you dont understand english well

just cause you have the option to type a reply doesnt mean you should do it, just cause you arent using alot of camber effectively doesnt, mean someone else isnt using it effectively. i have alot of cars with 0 camber that work fine and I have some cars that only work right with maxed camber its not going to work on every car and you cant just camber the wheels to $hit thinking thats gonna work. the problem is people dont like the hellaflush style and project that hatred for those kinda cars into a technical aspect and you will swear that there is no reason for camber when there is. Yall seize any opportunity to flame someone when you dont agree, and a smart person can tell when you speakin out of truth and when your speaking just to be a a$$

i even posted who i was, what times I am on to prove im not just talkin out my a$$ and offererd to HELP which was more than what you did. Anybody that knows me on the game or from the game knows I actually help people with there setting and I give free cars paints and parts on a daily. And my community wall proves it.. I can back up what I say results and proof can you?
 
Yeah I can but I'm not going to continue with this stupid argument. GTP is getting stupid lately with all the new people thinking they know it all. This is my last post in this thread since I don't care about this anymore.
