Why in the world does it help to put the ABS on 10??

Stuck on this right now and its getting on my last nerve. Even if you barely touch another car it disqualifies you, and is there glue on that outer white wall because my car, once it touches it, just sticks and wont detach !!, more than once I have been hit by another car and disqualified .. ridiculous.

PD .. alllow us to turn off ABS in the next patch please. Its ludicrous that we can't. This test is so unbalanced it just isn't funny.

EDIT .. Oops. Wrote that and thought one more try .. got mad and got 3rd !!, keep behind the Lowes car at the start, going into turn two be no more than 1.5 behind and then draft the second group which should slingshot you behind the first group. A bit of aggression skill and a dash of luck needed to. Glad that is done, be a while before I go for the gold !!

I golded the last challenge yesterday, after months ( I kid you not, it took me months of on and off tries ). The trick here, is to be as smooth as possible, and shadow the "LOWES" car that starts right in front of you ... it seems that one sob has more HP than the rest of the pack. Be careful on the 1st corner not to hit the wall or you'll fail that try. by the 2d corner, you should be on 9th or 10th, and in the beginning of the 2d lap, you should be on 5-6th. All that remains is to keep driving smoothly, and you'll be 1st before the last corner ( and finish line ).

It's a very tricky challenge, one that made me consider buying a wheel ( the last straw was the FT86 cone licence test.

I think you should have a try now when you know the track. If you gone in to third place you are close to first. I manage to get the gold when I shifted manual and as late as possible to gain speed. When I golded I realised that I could go on the outside and then slingshoot myself in front of the cars I just passed to go on the inside for the next ones. I did this in the last big turn and that gave me speed to take the final two on the very last turn.
I can say that I was mad as helll before i did this. I could not get better than third.

Just managed to win the last race at Daytona... Turned ABS to 10 and controller sensitivity to -2. Finally got my NASCAR ticket.
