this way people who have no clue WTF they're doin with multimedia can enter the contest aswell..Aslong as they can take slideshow pics that is.....Then just post em/send em to someone who can make .gif's...ie me or hanz...And we can post em on a randomly made site for viewing.

yea but if you only have a small amount of frames it'll make the drift insanely fast just to make it look more fluid. you need a lot of pictures to make it fluid and a decent speed

its funny cuz when i first drifted it was in a real car even tho id been playing gt3 for a whikl then i started in the game its so not like real its hard but after you get good enough you can drift without looking i drift with my toes!!! ;) oph yea and i wanna post vids how on earth can i do that!!??

Drifting in real life is NOTHING like Gt3, because in real life there is this thing called a CLUTCH...Which aids sooo much

Clutch kicking is the best way to initiate a drift. Why they didn't include it in practically ANY game... ever... I just don't know. But it would be niceto have in GT4 maybe.

Nice gif's you guys have made 👍

Now I just wish I can post my new drifts :( At least there will be a lot more drift videos out here after the competition :D

Well, I got a new one for you. I'm gonna make this clip into an instructional feint drift video, and it seems like it's gonna be a lot of fun ;) I'm gonna give bustwave. props for this drift :)

Check out this drift that's gonna be in the vid:

It sounds like you are oversteering too much. Here's the key thing: you don't always have to hold the throttle. You can just tap it to keep the drift going on until you clear the corner. Also remember to countersteer while you are drifting. Drifting doesn't involve speed, so you don't have to worry about how fast you are going. By the time you get the feeling of how a car drifts through a corner, that principle can be applied to any car that you want to drift. I usually go around 25-40 MPH in my drifts for small corners, but I get sideways way before I go through the corner *my avatar, the S2000* but for big corners, I usually drift @ 75-80 MPH depending on the car. And remember also, practice a lot ;)

Well, this thread has to go because I can't upload anymore of my drifts due to the fact that AOL limits the amount of space I can use on their FTP. Sorry guys, but I'll make a drift video :)

Uhh, about the clutch, it was in Rage Racer, along with a slotted shifter, for the arcade version. Great fun, easy to drift but it's hella old!

The clutch will be used in Need for Speed: Underground, for drag racing, and, hopefully, for normal street races as well. The clutch is also supposed to be in Street Racing Syndicate

if anybody tries to drift in real life thinking it's just like GT3 ... they should win the biggest f-ing retard award.... (for all you kids who do things they see on TV like Jackass and stuff)

a clutch is also used for the Ferrari F355 Challenge (BEST ARCADE RACER EVER)
It'z sooo damn reailistic. I've gotten pretty good at that game, wasted alot of money tho

Nice drift thio, i really wanna eter the comp but i havent got regular acces to a camera. I do AWD drift too but im a major noob. My best drift is at midfield starting before at the the first tunnel and then inerta (sp?) drifting thorught that big open corner so sweet both of them i got like 90 degrees to the corner. Ill keep on practising though then maybe i can do somthin like that.
