I'm planning on taking business at schools that have low 90's cutoffs. Not to mention that I need a scholarship.

The response?
"Bring home a 95% average and you can do whatever you want"
Now here comes the question:
What's more important. A decent social life outside of school with decent grades or no social life outside of school with great grades?
I'm going to community college, and then transfer to a four year.
I think I have to do this. My Highschool grades are ****... and the thing is.. I'm not even stupid.. I just don't do the work the give me.
Grades are a effort scale basically.
*Sorry for double post*
I've got some killer French homework to do for tomorrow. My friend has been texting me saying he can't do it either. A few weeks ago, we had to write a 100+ word paragraph, which I did fairly easily. Now, we have to learn that paragraph word for word and then write it out again without looking. I can't even remember the first sentence. I don't even know why I took French. Last year it was fun, but this year my teacher just wants us to write, write and write then do exam after exam - without telling us we have one - and then she just talks to all the popular kids and forgets that people like me even exist in the classroom. On Thursday we had a supply and I forgot to take my book home to learn this paragraph. Friday comes around, and she throws my book at me and yells at me because I didn't take it home. That was the only day I didn't take it home, all the days before that, it was at home! When the popular kids get something wrong, it's fine, everyone makes mistakes. When people like me do something wrong, it's like I just turned into Genghis Khan.
otakukid96This week will be the last week of the first quarter. I better prepare for all the people who go crazy.
Street RacerOk, so I've played football for uhhh . . . long time lol (since like 3rd grade). I know about all these long term effects of football, and how nfl players have all these bad knees and stuff after they retire. My question is should I keep playing it (like high school)? I love the sport but idk about my body. It's taken a beating. I don't want surgeries and to have all these weird things in my body (screws and what not)
I wouldn't do that homework, and I'm almost positive hardly anyone else will do it either. Sure it's one bad grade, but you've got an entire semester to make up for it. At most it will probably only drag you down 2 points on your overall average.
Street RacerYeah, but tons of kids play it. What are the effects of playing it in say high school. College? Question : "Is it worth it?:
SchwartzNot a good idea. They'd get in too many disagreements with the insurance and lawyer clubs.

By... spending time on GTPlanet?I'm busting my ass tonight, trying to get this work done.
gogatrsI'm one of five people in my grade not taking the PSATs this year.
PSAT's are Wednesday. I have no graphing calculator, neither the money to get one. I guess I'll just grab the smaller simpler calculators that my dad got from Boeing. Can't read though until everyone is done with the test.
What does it mean if someone blushes while talking to someone else? My friend blushes when talking to my girlfriend, so I just wanted to know. I doubt it'll come between the two of us, he's a guy that's very respectful to other people, especially his friends, and I know she doesn't have feelings like that for him. (She finds the whole hipster thing annoying, and he's big into that for one thing) plus she doesn't date friends unless she liked them before they became friends.
