Well, today was my first day of Term 2. Though it was still mind-numbingly dull. MLP music and fan music keeping me in a good mood to everyone else's dismay. We all know how much teenagers love seeing other people in misery. 
Anyway, there's someone who isn't a stereotype. But I just have to tell the world of how strange they are. There is a kid who looks sort of geeky, which is fine. He is actually really smart. But he is also a colossal pervert! And he makes the most ludicrous claims. Today his zit covered face was telling me about how he managed to make out with some "Hot girl from America," and he says he does all of these things. This is only the beginning. He is intellectually smart but thinks he is also street smart, and can read people's actions. But obviously can't. He thought I was acting suspicious as he accused me of stealing his headphones. And he has a need to try and insult other people's intelligence by comparing them to himself. Though it's funny because everyone hates him, and is always calling him a creep. And then he's telling me about how he's got all these girls that are dying for him.
I don't think I can stereotype that, I've never met someone so oddball. I thought I was strange.
Anyway, that aside. I think I go to the wrong school. I was added to a Upper Hutt Brony group on the Book of Many Faces. And they all go to the Upper Hutt College (of the students there are 6 or 7 there), but I go to Heretaunga. Where there are... 1... 2... 3... Including me. I know someone who's coming to my school who is a Pegasister, so there will be 4 technically. But still!

Nah, we get to choose which school we go to. I could go to any other school, if I really needed to. We don't get assigned according to our marks or anything. And I wasn't stating the Brony thing in a whining way, well wasn't meaning to. I was just giving a dry delivery to something not very entertaining.

So today we had a Short, Regular school day. From tuesday through thursday we have Standardized testing, and then Friday a full day. Since the Seniors don't do Standardized tests, they only have to come on Monday and Friday. But the District tradition is "Senior Ditch Day" on that Friday. And the school takes whatever lame excuse they give and marks it as an excused absence. It's a stupid school week, full stop.

Tomorrow, there is gonna be a seminar during 1st and 2nd period with our 3rd period classes. Thankfully, I get to skip Algebra 2 but I also skip band. To make it worse, I have Spanish 3rd period so I'm gonna have to deal with the worst teacher ever for 3 hours.

I found out that there is a brony in my hospitality class. Yay.
And wrote up a report on Mlp and 3 other things and got 98% on them.

Do you guys find school too easy to pass? Seriously, a D is passing. My god, I could get a D using common sense and guessing at exams. I never study, and I have A's in my classes. I guess its nice nor doing more work, but if I'm going to in that hell for 7 hours, challenge me. The only reason anyone fails is because they don't do homework and are too lazy to take a test.
I guess I see why we Americans are regarded as being some of the least educated people. Suppose I can't get mad when people say it because I believe it myself.
Put me in charge of school and things would improve, well for the people who want to succeed in life.

My school's policy is "pass two of three" ( marking periods and semester exam- any combination will work) with at least a 60% to get class credit. I played that system last year in classes that I hated. However, since my Senior year is more or less a joke, I'm taking school seriously this year.
