I don't even really know if she was being serious given how she was talking to one of my friends, and both joke around (in the good way) a lot. Although I don't see how someone would joke about such a thing.

Just make sure you do "research" as in find out what kind of person she is if you are in fact interested.

I have had that happen sometimes in the past. I used to sit with a bunch of guys at lunch that would be considered "extremely nerdy." They eventually got so loud and obnoxious that I just had to move to another calmer group of friends because I couldn't stand it anymore. I still talk to them outside of lunch, though.

About 9 hours.

EDIT:

But on weekends I sleep for 10-12 hours. I don't know if that changes anything, just thought I should mention that.

18, varies. I'd say the average is pretty close to 6.5 or 7.

17, and never enough sleep. I think I average about 6 hours a night, perhaps less. :ill:
 
We have this project to do for my science class. We've been learning about models, specifically physical models and graphical models. We must do one of each and present them. Our ideas need approved by the teacher, and only one has to be related to science. My ideas are:
  • Physical: model of hydrogen (approved)
  • Graphical: double line graph comparing the horsepower and torque of a Lamborghini Diablo GT vs the horsepower and torque of a Lamborghini Diablo GT2 (yet to be approved)
The numbers for the Diablos will come from GT6, in which I've already purchased both cars. Even if my idea doesn't get approved, there's a guaranteed win in this situation.

This weekend is Homecoming at my high school with alumni band being this weekend. This will be a fun weekend- too bad I just started my first week of this college year and I have to go home on Friday, the day of the game, to make it home to go to the game.

Be careful - as a general rule, we teachers don't care too much for games. Even those among us who are fans of games. It's very difficult to overcome the question of "well, did this student actually do the work, or did they spend the weekend playing games and now they're trying to justify it?". Maybe that's an unfairness to you, so you still need to be careful.

Yes, very much so, do I realize this. If the teacher needs proof of the stats though, I'm more than willing to pull out one of the class computers and do some research, provided that my idea does get approved.
