Iknow this is a bit off-topic, but if you feel you ace a test, and you fail it. What is going wrong? I pay attention, study(only when theres an exam) and don't act like a 🤬 to my teacher. I'm sick and tired of this.

Sounds like overconfidence.

Not in a bad way, but you should never be assured of how well you think you did until you get the mark.

Personally, I never study, & never do homework. I expect to fail any quiz or test that's handed out, and I do fine.

At least that way if I do end up bombing the quiz/test I know I was right about one thing. :P

Maybe try studying for your tests too? It's not rocket science bro.

I've taken tests and finished that seemed easy as hell and then I've flunked with a 33%, if not worse. Others I think I did bad on and do really well. It's weird.
 
Question for the Americans: Is high school anything like it's portrayed in teen movies?

Is Edexcel your examination board? I remember us international students have different which is CIE, generally for GSCE and GCEs

WJEC.
OCR.
AQA.
Edexcel.

Can't remember any more.
 
US Schools are... the same and different. The preppy girls arent nearly as outspoken as they are in the films. People are much more passive-aggressive.

I used to live in Georgia, back when I was in 1st grade, I got suspended for cursing alright? The guy who suspended me was my principle, which he was a Jewish and from Israel, and me being from the Muslim side of Israel(Palestine) made him.... Unhappy. Causing me a inschool suspension. I hate american school's, so pregidous, worst school of my life. But in Education wise, it's pretty good, no studying just pay attention in class and circle the SAT answers :P.

Not every school here is like this, I hope you do realize. The majority aren't that way.

No. Too exaggerated. Way to much.

@Bubble, I was going to say the same thing. Most aren't like that. If you curse in Elementary they might give you a warning or call your parents. In HS they really don't care as long as you aren't screaming it or attacking a teacher. At least in my school.

I never said I hated the schools in a academic way though, I just hate them in general, all the stuck up kids, thugs, who*es, I don't know what kind of school you're in but I was never a fan of mine.

I've been to many different school's in America, never had a good year in any, I'm not intending to talk smack about the school's or anything I just don't like them, sorry if I offended any of you by that comment.

I was reading yesterday about a 6 year old who got suspended from a Colorado school for saying "I'm sexy and I know it" which was deemed sexual harassment. :odd:

Oh god speaking of horrible music, half my year likes Skrilex and bassline :'( The other 45% likes anything that's in the top 10 of the charts and the rest of us (including me) are outcasts because we have taste :D

Yes. People at my school don't realize that talkers and pop artists have little to no talent and creative ability.
